  1. QUOTE (danman31 @ Mar 25, 2010 -> 02:41 PM) There were 6 releases yesterday. I'm trying to figure out who they all are, but Sergio Morales is one of them. That info would be helpful.
  2. QUOTE (NorthSideSox72 @ Mar 25, 2010 -> 01:49 PM) Some of those pitchers you have listed in Charlotte are going to be released, or stay back in long camp, or be traded/given away to other teams. I know.
  3. I'll have a new version up tonight with the signings of Scott Elarton and Joe Torres, as well as the release of infielders Keith Ginter and Lee Fischer.
  4. Keith Ginter and Lee Fischer were also released.
  5. QUOTE (scenario @ Mar 25, 2010 -> 01:30 PM) He's going to require radical surgery to remove all the forks that have been stuck in him. This isn't going to end well. If Daniel Cabrera can't cut it, then there's no hope for Elarton.
  6. I'll update the Bid Board tonight. I don't know where all these pitchers are going to play.
  7. QUOTE (Princess Dye @ Mar 25, 2010 -> 12:34 PM) 670 score says we signed Scott Elarton Oh lord.
  8. Barons 25th Anniversary Team White Sox, Barons renew PDC
  9. QUOTE (knightni @ Mar 24, 2010 -> 09:49 PM) They'll probably re-air it at 2 or 3am. Nope. But it is scheduled to re-air at 1AM on CSN.
  10. QUOTE (Cali @ Mar 24, 2010 -> 09:36 PM) I don't know, you typed it That was a rhetorical question.
  11. QUOTE (knightni @ Mar 24, 2010 -> 09:36 PM) MLB Network may have the re-airing rights. They're showing the bloody Mariners and Padres.
  12. Why the hell is the re-air of the game blacked out on CSN?
  13. QUOTE (Cali @ Mar 24, 2010 -> 05:47 PM) Really? REALLY? My girlfriend and I call her Tranny cause she looks like a man... Did I stutter?
  14. QUOTE (The Ginger Kid @ Mar 24, 2010 -> 02:37 PM) Hazel Mae. Hot or Not? Hot, but messed up grill. I have a crush on Trenni Kusnierek though.
  15. QUOTE (Kalapse @ Mar 23, 2010 -> 04:16 PM) The Sox have Carlos Pena up in the pen, that 'ought to be interesting. Is he on lease from the Rays? He's on loan from Rays. They want to see if he's fit for training before throwing him back onto the pitch. Soccer terminology actually makes sense applied to baseball.
  16. New version up in original post.
  17. QUOTE (flavum @ Mar 23, 2010 -> 11:07 AM) Sox sign LHP Joe Torres to a minor league deal. His second time with the Sox org. http://www.baseball-reference.com/minors/p...id=torres010jos Southern League All Star in 2008. Solid lefty.
  18. A player that could be had for cheap and be stashed away at Charlotte would be Chris Gimenez from Cleveland. He can play first, the corner outfield spots and catcher in a pinch. He's 27, so maybe late bloomer potential.
  19. QUOTE (NorthSideSox72 @ Mar 23, 2010 -> 07:49 AM) Just a thought here... Kila Ka'ahuie has a .344/.447/.656/1.104 line in ST. Royals appear ready to stick with Butler at 1B. Kila would be sent back to AAA. I cannot believe the Sox haven't looked at him - he looks to me like he's in the position TCQ was prior to 2008 (raked in minors, then had a bad AAA year, and is stuck behind someone), and he's a lefty power bat that could be had for cheap. Would you rather give up Hudson/Flowers/Danks2/Morel for 1.5 or 2 years of Gonzo, or give up only one of those (at most) and get 5 years of Kila for cheap, and still leave money room for some other big acquisition later if Kila ends up a flop? Years of Harrelson mispronouncing his name.
  20. The new Deftones album leaked...2 months early.
  21. QUOTE (Athomeboy_2000 @ Mar 17, 2010 -> 01:22 PM) I was talking with our HR person at work and we were talking about what to do with those who opt out of the insurance offered by our organization. Currently, people who opt out, like myself, receive no increase in pay... I simply stop having to pay towards the organization's insurance. She was looking at putting forward the idea to give employee's an increase in pay that matches, or nearly matches, what they were paying for an individual to be insured. I was curious what your various companies/organizations do. I dropped my coverage at work after the end of 2009 and went on my wife's insurance. Her family coverage was better, especially now that we have a little boy, and the family coverage from my work was way too expensive. I think my check increased the amount I would've paid to insurance since it was taxed from my gross.
  22. QUOTE (Stocking @ Mar 19, 2010 -> 04:39 PM) that The other.
