Video Game Catch-All Thread
QUOTE (chw42 @ Mar 7, 2010 -> 03:34 PM) It only pertains to names. You can edit everything else but names is what it restricts. There's a guy over on MVPMods who is going to make a roster editor for the PC. Don't know how he will transfer it to the 360 though. How many names? I'm happy with 2K8, the only drawback to that is that W-S is still the Warthogs. I've put too much time into my White Sox franchise to start over anyway. I'm just waiting on the real rosters to be set, I've already created or have most of the players that are in the organization. I've read a lot of other unpleasant stuff about 2K10 anyway.

Roster edit limits in 2K10, dealbreaker.

Happy Birthday Molto,Flash and JPN!
I had dinner with Lady Gaga at a Japanese steak house for my birthday dinner. Didn't know she was so old. Her son wouldn't eat his teriyaki chicken and fried rice without ketchup.

Finding jeans that fit right
QUOTE (Tex @ Mar 7, 2010 -> 10:43 AM) Powder blue? My son bought that same pair, what's up with powder blue? I got mine 4 years ago. They have a yellow stripe, as well as white and black areas. The tred is black and yellow.

I was going to get MLB 2K10 because it has all three levels of the minors, but read that there are roster edit limits. Basically, you can only edit so many players before it cuts you off. That's a deal breaker for me. I'll stick with MLB 2K8 and the two years I've put into a White Sox franchise. The only drawback to that is that Winston-Salem is still the Warthogs instead of the Dash. I don't like eit limits because I like to have accurate player likenesses and names for the minors. 2K8 just suits me best. Although I have a $50 gift card for Best Buy and don't know what to spend it on.

The Big Board!
QUOTE (CaliSoxFanViaSWside @ Mar 7, 2010 -> 10:03 AM) Great job JPN ! Something I noticed though. Sergios Santos is out of options so if he doesn't make the 25 man roster he won't end up in the Sox minors will he ? With his arm someone will pick him up. Probably the case, but I chose Torres for the final bullpen spot to start because he's the most versatile. Santos still has a chance, as do several other pitchers. Right now, those are the places I think they would fit best. If they can keep Santos without keeping him on the 25 man roster, then he needs more time in AAA.

Finding jeans that fit right
I'm cheap, I get most, if not all, of my clothes from Old Navy. I like my jeans to be loose. I do have trouble finding a good fit. If they made odd numbered sizes, I would get those because the sizes they have now are either too big or too small. Although I will buy some cheap sandals or slippers at Walmart. Other than a pair of Wolverine steel toed boots, a pair of powder blue Puma sneakers, a pair of black Reebok sneakers and a Guess belt, I'm head to toe Old Navy. I just don't feel compelled to spend that much money on clothes.

White Sox re-sign 16 players...
QUOTE (Kalapse @ Mar 3, 2010 -> 12:59 PM) It's the rest of the 40 man roster, those who are still in their pre-arb years. According to Cowley they were all signed, that's 18 players. It's basically a formality though Josh Fields seemed to enjoy fighting it even though he had no real power. Thanks.

Anybody know the list of the 16 players the White Sox agreed to contracts with yesterday? I want to know in case I need to update the big board.

The Big Board!
QUOTE (chisoxfan09 @ Mar 3, 2010 -> 01:04 AM) I tried to find any link detailing his pitch development but didn't come up with anything. His K/BB rate was ok but nothing to shout about, I hope he gets it together as our LH starter numbers are a little low. He could do half the year in W-S, then the other half in B'ham. Depends on his success in W-S. Nobody knows yet how the new Dash stadium is going to play. Ernie Shore was a hitters park. Don't know yet what BB&T will be like.

The Big Board!
QUOTE (chisoxfan09 @ Mar 1, 2010 -> 10:58 PM) JPN, you don't think Leesman will make the Baron's roster with a good ST? He could, it's only March 1st though. The Big Board is far from set in stone.
