    Dog Issues

QUOTE (longshot7 @ Jan 12, 2010 -> 01:27 PM) BTW, Milo was the wildest dog I've ever seen when I adopted him. A friend found him starving to death all alone and crazy as hell having been abandoned in a park in downtown LA. And now he's the most well-behaved boy you ever did see. It takes a lot of commitment to repetition and hard work to get them there, but eventually they get there. I can't understand why someone would abandon an animal. Take it to a shelter, they do take in animals that people can't keep. Dogs remember the people who help them.
  2. QUOTE (Thunderbolt @ Jan 12, 2010 -> 11:44 AM) One day I’ll scoop you. Of course that’ll be to a story that I found somewhere on the intent that’s somebody’s already covered. But I’ll hold it over your head just the same. I'm always checking Baseball America's minor league transactions, I even have the specific page bookmarked. But, it's no contest. I'm more interested in finding out info than scooping anyone.

    Dog Issues

    Crate training is the best.
  4. QUOTE (DBAHO @ Jan 12, 2010 -> 01:19 AM) The roster's not setup for Carroll to have any instant success in Seattle anyways. They're a complete mess on the offensive line, so they need to upgrade there. Looks like they'll be drafting a QB with one of their 2 1st rounders and getting Jeremy Bates to mould him as he did ala Jay Cutler. So they'll probably release Hasselback (he could resurface in Cleveland under Holmgren perhaps). They should use the other pick on an offensive tackle. They also need an upgrade at RB, and probably on the defensive line as well. The former GM spent too much $$$ on WR's (such as Branch and Houshmanzadh) and on LB's. As long as they don't draft Jimmy Clausen, I'll be happy. Hasselbeck will stay around, Forsett's good, but you're right about everything else.
  5. QUOTE (ChWRoCk2 @ Jan 11, 2010 -> 10:09 PM) The Cardinals have been up and down this year. At times they look like a really good team and other weeks they look terrible. Vintage Warner showed up Sunday and played a hell of a game, odds are he can't do it two times in a row, so I'd like to think the Pack would win the next matchup. It was nice reading about the praise the Cardinals secondary was giving Rodgers, not a bad first playoff game, just began and ended on a sour note. I meant playing the Vikings again.
  6. QUOTE (Thunderbolt @ Jan 12, 2010 -> 08:54 AM) According to Baseball America the Sox have re-signed Josh Kroeger. Hopefully, he'll get some play come spring before heading to AAA. I beat you to it.
  7. The White Sox resigned Josh Kroeger, signed Jason Botts and Ozzie Lewis.
  8. QUOTE (whitesoxbrian @ Jan 11, 2010 -> 07:25 PM) As (I think) being the lone USC fan here, I will say that obviously I'm disappointed. I love Pete. I love everything he has done for that program. He's a great guy and very well liked by the SC fans. Then again, I can't blame him. IIRC, he just got a $3m per year raise, and he's going to a new challenge. What more can he accomplish at USC? From 2001 until now, he's won 97 games, 7 P10 titles, 1 BCS national title, has had 2 Heisman winners, and has went 7-2 in bowl games. I hope he succeeds like hell up in Seattle. I think it was three Heismans (Palmer, Leinart and Bush). I hope he succeeds in Seattle too...
  9. QUOTE (flavum @ Jan 11, 2010 -> 07:14 PM) Retherford story. Gotta root for the guy. http://chicago.whitesox.mlb.com/news/artic...sp&c_id=cws I loved everything I saw of him this past season. He truly is an impressive hitter.
  10. The episode where Elaine dates a guy and can't tell what race he is. Then in the end, he thinks she's Hispanic, but they both realize they're white.
  11. QUOTE (SnB @ Jan 11, 2010 -> 04:39 PM) Elaine dancing gets me everytime. Ray Lewis reminds me of Elaine Benes.
  12. QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Jan 11, 2010 -> 03:18 PM) considering how much they got pantsed the first two times, maybe it is better this way The Packers would win if they played again.
  13. I guess the NFL did not want the Packers to have another shot at the Vikings and the almighty Favre.
  14. April can't get here soon enough. Hell, I'd be happy watching ST games in March at this point.

    Vote for Kaelyn

Leading vote getter, way to go! Great picture, I'm sure she's your pride and joy.
  16. This is similar to the Leno/Letterman issue that came up when Carson retired. NBC has this weird preoccupation with Leno that I cannot fathom.
  17. Plus, if they reviewed it, they could've determined that it happened during the play.
  18. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Jan 11, 2010 -> 11:57 AM) The ref was behind the QB and it was impossible for him to see it from there. Although, frankly, raise your hand if you think the GB Defense could have legitimately stopped Arizona's offense. Rodgers should have said something, that was the biggest mistake he made. You don't pass up any chance at hanging on.
  19. QUOTE (BigSqwert @ Jan 11, 2010 -> 11:55 AM) Agreed. It was quite obvious. If they brought back the TD and spotted it at the point of interception minus a 15 yard penalty then who knows. I'm surprised the Packers, and especially Rodgers, didn't make a fuss about it. You know he felt it.

    Celebrity Crush

QUOTE (Athomeboy_2000 @ Jan 11, 2010 -> 08:44 AM) Kaley Cuoco of The Big Bang Theory Yes.
  21. QUOTE (ChWRoCk2 @ Jan 11, 2010 -> 09:07 AM) The last play looked clean to me. Face masked, clear as day.
  22. QUOTE (Brian @ Jan 10, 2010 -> 08:08 PM) Oh. Thought they said it was on the last play of the game. Aaron Rodgers got face masked too on the last play.
  23. QUOTE (JPN366 @ Jan 10, 2010 -> 03:58 PM) What was the name of that hot chick who did that Fox Sports spot during the pregame? Bump. Somebody help me out here.

  25. QUOTE (witesoxfan @ Jan 10, 2010 -> 03:18 PM) ESPN slurped New England and Green Bay. My predictions, thus, were Baltimore and now Arizona. It's time for people to realize that New England cannot win on past reputation alone. They are New England, but that's not an explanation for why they will win a game. It's not 2000-2004.
