The slurping will be so bad, no ordinary man could stand the sound, please be cautious and use the "mute" button during the Vikings/Cowboys game next weekend.

QUOTE (lostfan @ Jan 10, 2010 -> 02:00 PM) Brady is playing like ass but I'm not putting this game on him. Of his 3 picks so far, 1 was because he chucked it up, but 2 were off his WRs hands. The fumble got knocked right out of his hand, I guess he should've felt the pressure coming, but what can you do when it's right in your face? I thought that when Brady fumbled, the refs rule it an incomplete pass?

QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Jan 10, 2010 -> 02:33 PM) If that circumstance occurs, then you can always trade your backup catcher for Lance Broadway as long as you haven't spent too much money on him. Nice.

I don't mind if someone in line in front of me writes a check, but it's when they don't even have their book out or haven't even began to make it out. If you know you're going to pay with a check somewhere, go ahead and fill in everything but the amount before you even get there.

I can't remember what episode, but there is a scene where in the middle of a conversation or argument in Jerry's apartment, the phone rings, he answers and it is someone selling subscriptions to the Times. They ask him if he'd be interested in buying one, he says "yes" enthusiastically, then hangs up and resumes the conversation.

QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Jan 10, 2010 -> 12:43 PM) And there are still more than a few available. Well, if Flowers starts out in Charlotte and rakes, then you don't want a veteran catcher who's not mostly expendable.

QUOTE (Athomeboy_2000 @ Jan 10, 2010 -> 09:41 AM) Just heard on ESPN Radio that some are projecting that Tim Tebow might get drafted int he first round. That.... is a wasted pick. If it's Seattle, I'll puke. They better not waist either of those two top 15 picks on him.

QUOTE (kapkomet @ Jan 9, 2010 -> 10:48 PM) For the love of God, please no. Of course, I don't know who to hate worse, the Cowboys or Favre. Favre. Do you really want to hear anymore verbal bukkake for Favre at this point? I have to put it on mute when I watch a Vikings game.

Michael Restovich signed with the Dodgers, no big loss of course. Well, technically, he's a big guy, but I digress.

QUOTE (Thunderbolt @ Jan 9, 2010 -> 05:34 PM) Yikes. Hardcore s***. In hindsight, not a surprise.

QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Jan 9, 2010 -> 02:47 PM) What's the matter with kids these days? All these fancy gadgets. My 7 year old niece has an iPod Touch. When I was 7, I had a Nintendo.

What I'm hearing is maybe cocaine, not likely marijuana.

I'll be 29 in two months and a first time father any day now, that's all I need to feel old.

I was at his b'day party in 2008, didn't see any "party favors" there. Let me do some digging, I may be able to find out what it was. The guy's a riot though, loaded with confidence. Fun fact: he's Puerto Rican, but he has naturally orange hair.

Here's that Esquire photo shoot of Christina Hendricks...commence drooling... Christina Hendricks

QUOTE (knightni @ Jan 9, 2010 -> 11:15 AM) Solid choice. A little young still for me though. 20, legal, enough for me.

Jordin Sparks. She's offering us her chastity...ring.

QUOTE (KipWellsFan @ Jan 4, 2010 -> 07:19 PM) Newish babe from "24". Annie Wersching is making me look forward to the next season. http://img269.imageshack.us/img269/8576/an...hing2065367.jpg http://img17.imageshack.us/img17/6660/anni...hingghfc002.jpg She was in season 7 too.

Call me crazy, but I think Ricky Stanzi could be a good NFL QB.

QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Jan 9, 2010 -> 09:36 AM) And in what, 2 years, Carroll will wash out in Seattle and take the newly open job at Florida/Notre Dame/Michigan. A positive viewpoint would be he would bring a much needed winning attitude back to the Hawks, which would spread to all the players via team captains who played for him at USC like Lofa Tatupu. He grooms a successor a la Parcells, then moves upstairs after 5 or 6 years. Bottom line is the organization is a mess, they needed to make a splash and bring in a new mindset in regards to player personel. When T.J. Houshmandzadeh has a bad year, you know something is wrong. He knows how to recruit top talent, maybe he can do the same in the draft and free agency. Maybe guys will want to come there and want to play better knowing they have a winner as a coach. Seattle has two (6th and 14th) first round picks thanks to the Bears and Broncos, I don't have a problem at all with Pete Carroll making those picks. They need to draft foundational guys with those picks, instead of the boyscouts that Tim Ruskell would draft and Jim Mora would bench over former Falcons players. All in all, if Carroll wins Seattle a super bowl, then it was worth it. I'd like another shot at the Steelers as would most Seahawk fans.

QUOTE (knightni @ Jan 9, 2010 -> 09:21 AM) Anyone else think that Baltimore's D is going to turn Brady into a stain on the grass this weekend? One can only hope.

QUOTE (WhiteSoxfan1986 @ Jan 8, 2010 -> 06:31 PM) If this happens what are the chances Matt Leinart is a Seahawk next year? I hope not.

QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Jan 8, 2010 -> 04:43 PM) Might as well throw the other few up here. Wow.

I didn't have a problem with Jim Mora, I think it was more Tim Ruskell's fault. Mora getting canned wouldn't have happened had they not had Carroll locked in.

As a Seahawks fan, I'm happy about this development. Plus, Mr. Cutler won't get his Jeremy Bates.
