QUOTE (Swingandalongonetoleft @ Feb 5, 2012 -> 10:38 PM) Seatbelts are fastened and sick bag is within reach. Now I'm ready for a week or two of nonstop Peyton vs. Eli. No use in trying to outrun it- it will find you. That's why you switch to the MLB Network from now until football season.

Am I wrong to want to punch someone in the face when they say they only watch for the commercials? I mean, don't we spend the other 364 days a year avoiding them? I DVR everything so I never have to watch commercials. I pay for satellite radio. Why would one submit themselves to jackass advertising at all? If you want to see people acting like idiots for 30 seconds, go to YouTube. A few years ago, I paused the game for almost an hour so I could fast forward through the commercials, and Springsteen too. I just feel my braincells dying if I pay too much attention to crazy guy with Doritos teases dog to run into window. Is that really worth getting excited about? If you want to see Danica almost naked, she's posed provocatively many times. /rant I hope the Patriots get f***ing destroyed, and Brady gets his knee blown out in the 1st by Pierre-Paul.

QUOTE (knightni @ Feb 5, 2012 -> 12:07 AM) Especially if you bring cheeseburgers. My friend bought a painting from one, and as he was leaving, someone offered him more money than he had paid for it to buy it.

QUOTE (flavum @ Jan 28, 2012 -> 01:10 PM) Mr. Pitt died. Moland Spring? That sucks.

A couple of entertaining, and inexpensive books by Aaron Goldfarb on the Kindle Store... "The Cheat Sheet" "How To Fail: The Self Hurt Guide"

So, Jackson eventually ended up with the Nats and Dunn ended up with the White Sox after all.

Man, they're really setting up Charlotte for a title run. The Knights are gonna be loaded with AAAA talent.

"Moneyball" is an excuse for us guys to get our wives to watch a baseball movie...duh. Yeah, I watched the new Apes movie. Solid, kinda reminded me of the 4th movie from the originals, which was my favorite.

Fifteen minutes from now and my son is officially 2.

I'll root for Jim Rash since he's the Dean on Community.

QUOTE (DirtySox @ Jan 23, 2012 -> 12:24 PM) Probably zero. He isn't a scout, and doesn't claim to be. He has plenty of scout sources and contacts that have seem him pitch though. It's how he gets much of his information. That's okay. Kevin isn't the minority in not thinking a whole lot of Terry Doyle. Innings eaters aren't gonna wow anybody, but if they get outs, they get outs.

It was another long track tornado that went from North of Tuscaloosa all the way to about 50 miles east of Birmingham. So, it tracked about 100 miles. My Mom heard "the sound." It just missed them. Their area got nailed hard.

QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Jan 22, 2012 -> 08:32 PM) No you won't, let's be honest. It's the Super Bowl I skipped the Eagles/Patriots Super Bowl. Didn't watch a minute of it, by choice. -
QUOTE (JoeCoolMan24 @ Jan 22, 2012 -> 01:28 PM) FWIW, I asked K. Goldstein what the odds were that Terry would make the Twins 25-man roster, and he said very slim, so it appears there is a good chance we get him back! So maybe not protecting him won't come back to bite us in the ass. Goldstein = worthless opinion I'd like to know how many times he's seen him pitch.

QUOTE (witesoxfan @ Dec 15, 2011 -> 05:58 PM) Your track record for predicting major league success isn't exactly stellar either. Whose track record is? Am I a professional scout? No.

QUOTE (lostfan @ Jan 20, 2012 -> 07:41 PM) This is probably TMI, but I had to get some skin cysts removed. It was awesome. By awesome I of course mean not awesome. When they operated on my balls, they said I didn't need much anesthetic. Nor did I take a single painkiller afterwards. Man up.

QUOTE (kapkomet @ Jan 18, 2012 -> 08:53 PM) They are all over the place here. It's pretty decent, but a little pricey for what it is. "Mongolian" food, aka, another name for close to Chinese food. True, what's you bowl ingredients? Mine is sliced beef, mushrooms, eggs, fried rice, pepper and that 3G sauce.

QUOTE (lostfan @ Jan 18, 2012 -> 11:03 PM) Having surgery on your sack is not what's up. Vasectomy...or something else?

QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Jan 17, 2012 -> 07:59 AM) So that you don't see the random hotel reservations :-) GAHHHH!!! Nah, she's a control freak. But what woman isn't? (rimshot)

Good news... My wife: I was just not impressed with "Are You There, Chelsea?" I survived.
