It seems like I was a really big proponent of ARow in the 3-hole last year. But don't listen to me. Any other moves you want me to throw out there? I say Dye has a great game tonite.

Seems like we said that all of our fifth starter candidates last year couldn't do any worse than the last. We are pretty familiar with how that went. Brian is an awesome talent and I have no doubt he's a potential solid big leaguer. I'd personally prefer to wait for him to adjust to AAA pitching before we toss him in a pennant race.

I could see Sweeney in Charlotte soon with Bikowski, Spidale and Borchard all struggling mightly. Roosevelt Brown looks like quite the solid pickup though.

Gorzelanny always pops up in opposing box scores. If it's the same one.

I haven't really met with a whole lot, but Rick Ankiel gave my brother a bat (this was when Ankiel was the big new thing) and I thought Bags was pretty nice. Through e-mail, Sirotka was always really nice. Cotts is down to earth and Rex and I have mentioned in another thread how great Baj is.

I watched 61* the other nite and later ran across the fact that he isn't in the HOF. Does this surprise those of you that didn't know or assumed he was in? Should he be in?

I dunno. It'd be kinda sweet to see Garland pitch against them as the one that got away, and then MB against Prior. I'll take what we've got, but you can't say those matchups wouldn't be a little neater.
