I’m not speaking toward the political systems described in the Old Testament but rather Biblical principles and doctrine as a whole. Anything from the Mosaic Law to the values described by Christ in the Gospels and by figures such as Paul in the New Testament. The constitution was shaped by those ideals in part. That being the case, it seems impossible to “separate church and state”.
