  3. hey, you know what ken.... your right it is thanks giving.... and i s*** you not but i GAREN-f***ING-TEE YOU that every single member of the chicago white sox is thankful for 2005 and is thank full for being able to have arow as a part of the team since 2000...... and im sure every single one of the white sox players who talk to arow will tell him that... "arron, we're all thankful that we had you to help us do what we did last year." you yourself need to be thankful for that... i know you are... but its easy to over look when something hits you below the belt also be thankful that we're getting a DH who has the potential to hit over 50 home runs and drive in 120+ runs while getting onbase at a .400 clip a lot to be happy about still in white sox world.

  9. QUOTE(knightni @ Nov 24, 2005 -> 07:17 AM) Wow. I'm hip deep in cliche's after reading that. Thanks, I guess. laughing my f***ing ass off.... which can also be summed up by abrivation as: LMFAO in the context of this conversation what you just read could also be seen as an example of a litterary divice otherwise known as, IRONY
  10. heres a quote from mid season 2004... if you are sad about arron leaving... smile: "Through August 1, Thome's 78 home runs since 2003 are six better than Barry Bonds and two better than Alex Rodriguez. His 130 homers from 2002 and August 1, 2004 are two behind A-Rod and 12 better than Bonds, who obviously is pitched to less often."

  16. QUOTE(Balta1701 @ Nov 24, 2005 -> 05:31 AM) If I'm ever in a stadium at the same time as Aaron Rowand...all my sign will say will be "Thanks Aaron". And I will of course be in full Sox attire. thinking of that, now i have a reason to go to dodger games =D
  17. "If you want to know the truth, the news kind of numbed me,'' Manuel said. "Jimmy is like my son. I've been around him his whole career, and I've been a part of all the places that he's been. I hate to see him leave, but I know he's going to bounce back and have a h*ll of a big year in Chicago.''
  18. whats the deal with credes health... i know its something about herniated discs... but i didnt know it was that serious... can someone enlighten me?
  19. that sound bite is a must hear.
  20. rowand was a class act from day one.... and he was a class act on the way out: "B.A. is a good player. He's going to be fine," said Rowand of Anderson. "He can hit. He plays defense. He plays the game the right way. Chicago fans and the White Sox are going to be happy to have him."

  22. QUOTE(BDavisFutureHOF @ Nov 24, 2005 -> 01:54 AM) Its not really the loss of AROW that irks me -- its the loss of, arguably, 2 of our most talented minor league pitching prospects. That being said, I don't really think that Anderson can, or will, live up to AROW's production -- offensivly or defensively. Mind you -- I'm not a huge officianado of our minor league syster. if your not a big afficanado of our farm system how to you get irked about losing 2 prospects? dude, take a drink and chill man.... your questioning the best GM from the best team in baseball.... gah
  23. accually bmac is the future stud of our rotation =P
  24. QUOTE(BDavisFutureHOF @ Nov 24, 2005 -> 01:25 AM) Prdon my naiveity but doesnt anyone care that we gave up Haigwood and Gio? Am I missing something here? no, i care... lots of us here care.... its being duscussed at length in other threads gotta give up stuff to get stuff we have our pitching situation locked up and have a great chance to win it all again.
