We need some variety in our lineup. You diversify with stocks and with ballclubs. It's a well known fact we are a slow lumbering power-hitting team except we don't walk as much as a great power-hitting team. We also don't hit for a high enough average. Execution has cost this team an unbelievable number of games and that starts with management. This team just needs a whole new offensive philosophy.

I really don't see us keeping Jerry Manuel if we don't make the postseason. Does anybody see a scenario where KW can justify keeping JM if this happens?? If so what reasons could he possibly give that could convince even the dumbest White Sox fans?

Ordonez: one of my favorite White Sox player is turning into the mental equivalent of a piece of s***. WHO IS TELLING HIM TO SWING AT EVERY PITCH??? NOT EVEN CARLOS LEE DOES THAT ANYMORE!!

I listened a little on the radio. Farmio and Rooney were pretty pissed at ump Joe West cuz he kept b****ing about all the mound meetings.

Right now that little thing called "momentum" is up for grabs.

To give some credit, Radke is not throwing many balls. Still it's not like his stuff is unhittable. He is basically a soft-tosser that we happen to SUCK BALLS AGAINST.

I have to say for the better part of this season, Carlos Lee has been a smarter hitter than Magglio Ordonez. Maggs sees like 10 pitches a game now.

I think it's too late in the year to try and change an arm angle like Loaiza's. It might have been better to not tell everyone in the world that Loaiza had a mechanical flaw. It was probably the only thing on his mind and that usually eats a pitcher alive.

What I hate is how the bats have to follow Loaiza. Loaiza did bad yes, but that doesn't mean we have to start sucking w/ the offense. The offense was riding high after a decent day in Boston and they pull this s***.

Loaiza definitely had the deer in headlights look going today. I mean his start on 9/11 wasn't even that bad except one really bad inning. Today he was all afraid of the Twins and it showed.

Konerko is slow... and I feel sick, really sick right now. This is a very sick sickening feeling I think I'm going to vomit.

Loaiza needs to get his stuff back in gear.

I'm praying the Yankees clinch before they get to us. They have plenty of big name Sox-killers that I wouldn't mind seeing on the bench. I still remember 2001 I think when they had huge losing streak to enter the postseason.

I don't think we have a 2nd half MVP because so many people have been contributing. It wasn't like the first half where there truly was one guy, Esteban, carrying the entire team. That said, the front four of our pitching rotation has done some tremendous work this 2nd half. Let's just ignore the 5th starter spot for now...
