I talked to Samardzija's cousin tonight, but he doesn't seem to have any info. Maybe an extension of 5 yrs/$90M works instead of 5 yrs/$105M or something.

So Interstellar was really good until that weird 5th dimension library s***. People in the theater was laughing at loud at how stupid that whole thing was. Also, I did not expect the movie to be so sad at parts. I'll admit, I had tears in my eyes when he was watching the videos from his kids. Here is how was hoping it was going to end. Overall I liked it, but it really made it hard for me to take it seriously during that last 30 minutes or so.

It's much easier to replace a LF spot than a SS spot. SS is the most important position on the field and the hardest to replace and find good talent for. Watched St. Vincent tonight. I thought it was decent. I'm not really a fan of those types of movies that don't have a plot. Glad I didn't pay to see it. We are seeing Interstellar at iMAX tomorrow, so that should be fun/long.

Why do people still want Alexei traded after we signed LaRoche, which is a clear "win now" move? How do plan to contend by creating a hole at SS? I'm curious how people could think that would work.
