Welp, nevermind! So earlier in the week I noticed my account page was suddenly showing 19" sport wheels instead of the 18" aero wheels that I ordered. Not only that, but they tacked on the $1500 upcharge as well. So I called Tesla and pointed out the mistake. The lady was very confused how this happened, but went ahead and changed it back for me, both to the 18" wheels and the original price. Then the next day I check my account again and notice that they applied a $1500 DISCOUNT to my total. It appears they were going to comp me the upgraded wheels (many speculate they are trying to hit their Q2 deadline of June 30th and don't have enough 18" wheels, so they want customers to take the 19" for free to deliver sooner). A couple of days go by and the discount is still on my account, even though the wheels were taken back. So I essentially got a free $1500 off the price. Then TODAY I get a call from their sales team and they apologized for the delays. I bought the car on May 27th with a 2 week delivery time and it's been past 2 weeks and still no VIN or anything. So he told me that my exact configuration, but in an AWD version is on it's way to the MW right now, and I can have it within the week. The cost increase would be $2000 instead of $4000, because they would comp my paint color ($1000) and my interior color ($1000). So an upgrade from RWD to AWD for $2000? Tempting, UNTIL I asked him to confirm the purchase price to me, and that it would only be $2000 more than my current price on my account. He said yes. That means my $1500 discount is still there! So now, it's essentially a $500 upcharge instead of $4000! Needless to say, I told him yes. I'm pretty pumped!

Why don't you just go ahead and forfeit the remainder of your salary this year, just give us that $9M back, and go deal with your ex-wife. Family members have DIED during a season. I don't recall a player every just taking off the rest of the year like this and forfeiting their salary. I have to believe this is some sort of agreement that Theo has with Zobrist that he agrees to take the year off, give them the money they need to sign Kimbrel, and then Zobrist will be compensated after he retires by being promised a job with the Cubs or something.

Can't agree with that, but it was definitely the worst season, by a long shot. I thought Smithereens was pretty solid. I hated the Ashley O one. Striking Vipers was mostly bad, and frankly just weird.

I liked the reveal, and I liked how the reveal is probably something that happens and you, or at least I, would never even think about as being what can actually happen from that.

Like last year, can I request we get a GREEN bold for players signed UNDER slot, and a RED bold for players signed ABOVE slot? I guess regular black bold can be players signed AT slot.

I thought the Miley Cyrus one was pretty bad. Or at least, not Black Mirror style. Smithereens was pretty decent. Probably forgettable in the grand scheme, but worth watching. Haven't seen Striking Vipers yet.

As far as local HS kids go.... LHP Michael Prosecky from Nazareth Academy. MLB.com ranks him #151 and literally compares him to Mark Buehrle in the sense that he's a soft-tossing lefty who works very fast and pounds the strike zone. LHP Avery Short from Southport HS in Indiana. MLB.com ranks him #159 and his profile says he perhaps the most advanced HS pitcher in the country and should go in the top 3 rounds. Both guys have commitments to Louisville.

For those who are upset about all the senior signs, or don't fully understand the process, as others have reminded us, the Sox nabbed Bryce Bush with their 33rd RD pick last year. That was considered a shocking pick. Most teams assumed he was unsignable. It's entirely possible and even likely that the Sox have at least 1 or 2 similar ideas in mind with picks 11-40.

Yeah, honestly I am excited for him the most after Vaughn, as irrational as that sounds, I just really love the insane speed tool mixed with new found power. The fact that he might be faster than Billy Hamilton blows my mind.

100% expected his era to be 0.69. Guess it wasn't THAT nice.

New season of Black Mirror AND Handmaid's Tale released at midnight. Can't wait to watch both.
