Picked up a shift at my old Chilis job this Saturday purely so I could play in the huge softball tournament in Elgin on Sunday. Can't believe the GM there is letting me essentially walk on to the team after not even working there anymore, or attending a single practice. He must have really liked me for the short time we worked together, or they really need another guy who can play.

He really was great. I remember when we signed him, tons of Twins fans on MLBTR saying he would fail so hard with us and laughed at Kenny for that deal. 2 1/2 years later he gives us a 3.7 WAR, worth $18M, yet we only paid him about $11M. Great reliever, great signing, hopefully a great return on prospects.

Our playoffs started 2 weeks ago. We came in as the 5th seed, got a 1st RD bye. Won our 2nd RD game. We play in the 3rd RD vs. the #1 seed now. They only lost 1 game all year.....to us. Should be interesting.
