Also, my guess for Dexter is that this Vogel lady is actually trying to pin all the serial killers against eachother, to have them all wipe each other out. So while she is telling Dexter her life is in trouble, she is also telling another "patient" of hers that Dexter may be the one hunting her down. Although the problem w/ this idea is that Dexter and Vogel are together so often that any serial killer who is "protecting" her would have surely seen the two of them meet by now.

QUOTE (BigHurt3515 @ Jul 9, 2013 -> 12:57 AM) What the 2nd episode good? Anybody see it yet Thanks for the reminder. I forgot to watch it, actually. I'll check it out now.

QUOTE (danman31 @ Jul 6, 2013 -> 12:56 AM) Fixed. Doesn't change things much, but worth noting. Ah crap, yeah, meant HS.

QUOTE (Brian @ Jul 6, 2013 -> 12:31 PM) I thought Ray Donovan was sort of dull. I'll give it 3 eps like every show but not excited about it. I agree, but I think the concept of the show lends for some really cool things. It's not a typical storyline, and Liev Shrieber is pretty bad ass. I'll definitely give it at least half a season.

QUOTE (Jerksticks @ Jul 5, 2013 -> 11:42 PM) Does anybody know what the plan is for Danish this year? So far he gets a couple innings on 5 or so days rest. High workload already this year? I'm guessing it's just because of college. Next year he should be starting and going 5-6 innings each time.

QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Jul 5, 2013 -> 11:20 AM) He was struggling a bit and Boston targeted him in game 4 & 6, so Q kept him off the ice. Kid is still only 22 so I'm not too concerned. He's so good moving the puck and at that number you can keep him around and figure out exactly what you have in him. Oh, I love Leddy, I'm not worried skill wise, I just mean I hope this isn't a sign that Q may not like Leddy as much as we do, and he continues to see 10 mins or less on the ice. -

Ouch. Seems like a high price for a defenseman that Q downsized to about 5 minutes in the last few playoff games. I love Leddy, but Q doesn't seem to, so at $2.7 M, he better be getting ice time up there with Keith and Hjammer. -
Phegley Finally gets the Call

Love all the promotions of interesting players. Phegley, Thompson, Micah. Something to watch again! -
Konerko/Crain to DL - Purcey/Morel called up

Would have been cool to see Wilkins called up, but Morel makes more sense. -

Got my Hossa jersey/sweatshirt in today, and also got my Clark Griswold jersey in too. Very nice. -
Watch This Is The End last night. Pretty funny, but really weird. I don't think I liked it as much as other people did.

QUOTE (Chicago White Sox @ Jul 2, 2013 -> 11:05 PM) Are you Dan Berstein? What inefficiency have they exploited here? They had the second largest bonus pool because their team sucked balls last year. That reason alone gives them an edge with the top players. It doesn't make Theo & Jed genuises. True, but trading for all that slot money was pretty smart of them. The return on Feldman was super mediocre, but they got that slot money that helped land Eloy. So in their minds, they trade Feldman for Arrieta, Strop, and Eloy Jimenez. I didn't see Rick Hahn trading off Jared Mitchell for slot money and using that for more Int'l talent, but I would have liked to.

Olyimpus Has Fallen was a pretty ridiculous movie where the hero kills about 100 bad guys on his own to save the day. Real good action I'd say, but you're typical hero movie.

QUOTE (BigHurt3515 @ Jul 2, 2013 -> 06:27 PM) Alright guys I am looking for another show or two to start watching. I am looking for one that is in season 1 or 2 that won't take awhile to get caught up. I am into the Dexter, Criminal Minds, Breaking Bad, Castle, Homeland type of shows. I started watching Graceland which I like so far Any suggestions?? Copper. It's a BBC America show. S2 just started on Sunday. If you have ever seen Gangs of New York, it's like that. Similar time period, exact same "5 points" neighborhood in NY. Also, Hell on Wheels is pretty cool. AMC show about the building of the transcontinential railroad. That is 2 seasons deep. The American's is a good one too. FX show that just finished S1 a couple months ago. I watch probably 20+ dramas a year, so I've got plenty more suggestions of those aren't interesting enough.

QUOTE (GoodAsGould @ Jul 1, 2013 -> 09:36 PM) Use the promo code someone posted to buy a signed Blackhawks puck by Andrew Ladd, now just have to figure out how to get Saad to sign the other side of the puck and be ready to put it with both papers and get it all framed. Anyone have any idea where you can find where players go to do signings? Why get both sides signed and then frame it? Then you're hiding one the signatures, right? -
QUOTE (flavum @ Jul 1, 2013 -> 11:26 PM) Astros are worse. 3.5. About to be 4. Wouldn't that be a kick in the nuts if the Sox get the #1 pick? I hope it happens. A kick in the nuts? Hell no, that'd be amazing. A kick in the nuts would be the Sox having a great second half and ending up with the 17th pick next year. Last thing we need to mid-round picks.

Keep on winning Marlins. We are now only 3 games out of the #1 pick! http://www.baseballamerica.com/statistics/...ankings/majors/

Is LeBlanc under the Hawks control? I was not clear on what that situation was. -
QUOTE (Brian @ Jul 1, 2013 -> 12:36 PM) I hope you mean the first two seasons and not the crappy celebrity ones. I mean the concept on the whole. I don't even remember the individual seasons anymore, but the concept for that show was outstanding.

QUOTE (CrimsonWeltall @ Jul 1, 2013 -> 02:15 PM) Same. I'm not even sure what we should be looking for to determine the killer. And I don't think the contestants do either... it seems like they're almost all guessing based on who they find unlikeable. Ha, yeah, I definitely noticed they are all picking people they don't like. That TV Reporter chick is so annoying, and I hate her too, but that doesn't mean she's the killer.
-
In conclusion, it's not even close to being as awesome as The Mole. That was the best reality/competition show I've ever seen.

QUOTE (Buehrle>Wood @ Jul 1, 2013 -> 12:16 PM) Yeah the show comes off as so fake, even for a reality show. I mean, OBVIOUSLY parts of it are fake. The murder scenes are obviously acted out, the the little speech they all give at the end to the killer is clearly rehearsed, and the way people react to each murder is way over the top, but I think the last part is just that the contestants are told to ham it up to make it seem like a real person was just killed. As for the people on the show, I think they are actually real people and not actors, and I think their interactions amongst each other are all real. It's just the added drama and crying and shock when someone dies that is over the top and annoying. Either way, I am just interesting in figuring out each crime and figuring out who the killer is above everything else, and scripted or not, that's still something real to the viewers.
