  1. QUOTE (Buehrle>Wood @ Apr 20, 2013 -> 07:22 PM) We are 1-5 in games he pitches in. His value is a complete waste out of the pen. We just have to hope Axelrod dominates every start, so Santiago can get a chance to take his spot.
  2. QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Apr 20, 2013 -> 11:16 PM) Pitcher #3: 0-1, 6.26 ERA, 23.0 IP, 29 H, 16 ER, 5 HR allowed, 7 BB, 21 K, 1.57 WHIP According to your logic, Dylan Axelrod is more deserving of a start than David Price. Boom. Who gives a s*** about 3 decent starts, one guy is CLEARLY better than the other, so let's go with what history tells us, not what last week tells us. I'd start Porcello next week over Axe, and Porcello gave up 9 ER today in 2/3 of an inning. That's an ERA of 121? Yeah, I'll still take that guy.
  3. What's the Hawks magic # for the President's cup? Like 5 or 6?
  4. QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Apr 21, 2013 -> 12:22 AM) Jerry Gergich's family is so f***ing hot... I love that he is so smooth and suave at home, but a bumbling idiot at work. That was perfect. Also, love his Muncie scrapbook, of course.
  5. Oh, and I'd put Wilkins on your 1B list before Loman, as far as value to our organization goes.
  6. QUOTE (danman31 @ Apr 20, 2013 -> 07:31 PM) I wouldn't separate the outfield spots because that's so fluid. I agree, and HOLY WEAKNESS for LHP and 3B prospects. Yuck.
  7. I have seen 3B Colin Moran listed as a possible pick. RHP Ryan Eades is another, as well as Andrew Thurman. SS JP Crawford would be a nice one to have, or C Jon Denney, but they'd have to drop to us.
  8. Decent start for Jaye so far. His control seems to be his issue right now. 6 IP, 3 H, 0 R, 3 BB, 3 K
  9. Fun w/ numbers.... Hawkins is half way to his K total in 2012, in 20% of the games played.
  10. Hector Santiago. 0-1, 0.00 ERA, 0.47 WHIP. He must love being on this team.
  11. QUOTE (Jake @ Apr 20, 2013 -> 06:35 PM) If Keppinger can't outplay Paul Konerko at 1B, we should revisit the logic of that signing Keppinger was signed to play 3B/2B. Gillaspie was brought in to play 3B/1B. Beckham getting hurt changed that.
  12. I guess we just have to hope Flowers runs in to a 95 MPH fastball here.....
  13. QUOTE (Buehrle>Wood @ Apr 20, 2013 -> 06:30 PM) I agree, but he should not be playing 1b. Again, not his fault. Keppinger is the last guy involved in that play to blame. You blame Alexei for the bad decision, then the bad throw, or you blame Robin for pulling Konerko. Kepp was put in a bad spot, both having to play 1st and getting a bad throw.
  14. QUOTE (Buehrle>Wood @ Apr 20, 2013 -> 06:28 PM) Konerko makes that pick easyyyyyyy. And if not it's in front of him. Keppinger handled that as poorly as possible. Keppinger is not a 1B. Konerko may have picked that, Dunn may have even picked it, but it's an error in the SS for a reason, he threw it in the dirt.
  15. I'm surprised Alexei didn't go to 3rd, honestly.
  16. Come on CB.....totally squeezing Hector here. Not the time for this s***!
  17. If I was Hector, I would be throwing screwballs on this bunt.
