  1. PS Store is back! Time to download my free games!
  2. And obviously I am discounting Carlos Gomez's inside-the-park HR since it did not leave the park.
  3. Not sure if any of you guys ever check this site out, but take a look.... www.hittrackeronline.com They figure out and track the distance and path of each home run hit. I like checking every couple weeks to see who has the furthest HR, and then they also link the video which is nice. Well, I was just looking at the site, and I noticed you can sort by the height of the HR. After watching Luke Scott's towering blast that reached like 148 ft in the air, I thought it would be cool to see the LOWEST HR hit this year. Check this HR out by Carlos Peguero... http://mlb.mlb.com/video/play.jsp?content_id=14879347 Lol. Talk about hitting a rope! Also, here the slowest hit HR, hit by Adam Lind... http://mlb.mlb.com/video/play.jsp?content_id=14345437
  4. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Jun 1, 2011 -> 09:28 PM) Howsabout some credit for Ozzie for getting Lilli into the perfect match ups? Nah. Huh? I'm saying that of course Ozzie is going to say that Walker is the reason for Lillibridge's success, because Ozzie always sticks up for his coaches and gives them credit for anything he can. He is not going to say "Nah, Lillibridge did this himself. He just figured this on his own".
  5. God damnit. Last shot of the game goes in for Vancouver, and it's that asshole Torres who scores. f***.
  6. I just remembered that someone posted at the beginning of the game that Konerko's 4th grade teacher was there wearing a KONERKO shirt, and got a chance to reminisce with Paulie. Nice of him to put on a show for her.
  7. QUOTE (stretchstretch @ Jun 1, 2011 -> 11:07 PM) and you gotta love how espn titles their article "White sox sweep slumping Red Sox" right, the team who won 5 of their last 6 before we came to town is "slumping"...... to degrade the quality of the sweep as if they came to the park and took advantage of a wounded animal.....rather than admitting we punkslapped a hot first place team in the AL East.... Yeah, the "slumping" team that I am pretty sure had the best record in the month of May.
  8. Danks went 3/3, 2B, HR, RBI. Hitting .307 since May 1st.
  9. Terry Doyle with a dominating start for W-S. 9 IP, 6 H, 0 ER, 1 BB, 7 K.
  10. There you go, Burrows BITING a Bruins player.......and who said this guy wasn't a goon? Hair pulling and now biting. I hate this asshole.
  11. QUOTE (Stan Bahnsen @ Jun 1, 2011 -> 08:16 PM) This. This.
  12. QUOTE (Lemon_44 @ Jun 1, 2011 -> 07:10 PM) That's how you get a 16,000 square foot home in Scottsdale
  13. QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Jun 1, 2011 -> 06:41 PM) 1b - Konerko 2b - Kendrick ss - Alexei (Homer pick over Asdrubal) 3b - Beltre (No good choices) C - Martin DH - Dunn Ortiz OF - Bautista Joyce Granderson (Sorry TCQ) 1b- Votto 2b - Weeks ss - Reyes 3b - Polanco (everyone is hurt) C - McCann OF - Berkman Braun Holliday (Kemp/Bruce next) Wow, no Bruce?
  14. QUOTE (chw42 @ Jun 1, 2011 -> 06:35 PM) That new Nintendo console will probably be a bit more powerful than the PS3 and 360. Nothing more. Nintendo always tends to lag behind in terms of processing power. That's been the case the past two generations. The thing about the controllers having their own screens, and thus making the controllers like portable systems in themselves sounds cool, but probably very expensive for each controller.
  15. QUOTE (The Ginger Kid @ Jun 1, 2011 -> 06:08 PM) Ozzie giving Walker a lot of the credit for Lilli's success Uhm...of course he is. Ozzie is too loyal.
  16. I always wait until the last couples days to vote, so my vote is more accurate. I don't just vote for all Sox, I keep mine somewhat unbiased.
  17. QUOTE (ROC Sox Fan @ May 31, 2011 -> 12:58 PM) Pimpin', thanks! I like having all the dates to the right- cause' my desktop is cluttered as hell. I actually prefer to have the dates on the left side, since I have a widget bar that comes up on the right, but not a big deal, I'll just hide all my widgets for a month.
  18. Oh man, this is such a great feeling. And Santos!!!
  19. Well, at least Ozzie was smart enough to put Rios in CF and move Lilli to RF.
  20. QUOTE (ChiSox_Sonix @ Jun 1, 2011 -> 05:22 PM) More automatic than Dunn? An automatic out can't take a walk. Dunn, thank god, can.
  21. QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Jun 1, 2011 -> 05:21 PM) That is true, but the gap from Paulie to Frank is the size of the grand canyon. The gap from Paulie to Frank is the size of Adam Dunn? Makes sense, actually.
  22. QUOTE (Leonard Zelig @ Jun 1, 2011 -> 05:20 PM) Would you put Paulie in at 1st for the 9th? Not worth risking an automatic out in the extra innings if Santos can't nail this down.
  23. Damn, The Bridge was really hustling that ground ball out. Yowza.
  24. Ahahaha. That man almost got impaled by Paulie's HR!
