At first I thought this was a Sox/Dodgers game thread, but now I see it's a Don Cooper Effectiveness debate.

Even if pitchers get wise of it and start throwing right down the middle, he at least has the skill to just let it rip and crush the ball for a HR, or at least hit the gaps for a 2B or 3B.

Kubel would nice too as a DH assuming his option is not picked up. As for pitchers, I would LOVE to get Brandon Webb, but he will go to the Yankees, I'm sure.

Meh. He gets on base at a decent rate, but I don't know if I would want to have him for $7M a year. If Toronto throws in a few mil, I would, but I would rather have Dye at $4M than Overbay at $7 (even though Dye is not a lefty).
