Here comes that one inning Kay always has

Come on Vargas

If this is what a Hinch managed team looks like then I’m not sad he didn’t end up out manager.

Can't count on Detroit. Just keep winning a game at a time.

4-1 after a long bottom of the first featuring a classic Jose Ramirez swinging bunt

I'm not too prideful to celebrate backing into a division title

When you are in tight games that’s the stuff that does you in.

One of those games where they made enough mistakes and couldn't score so a manager's mistakes cost them. Good luck against Hader. Hope he's super wild or something.

And that's game

And here come the wheels falling off

Antonacci hit a ball at Pena playing in at SS while Peters was on third. Pena sort of deked Peters like he was going to second instead for a double play. Peters took off and was easily dead to rights.

God damnit man

Bags loaded baby

Why did Peters go there? What the hell man?

Can we get some people on and sneak one into those stupid Crawford boxes now

That was fast. Jeez. Vargas had a pitch to crush too.

I might walk Alvarez

Nice recovery by Davis. If he’s even just a 4 era guy going forward that’s enormous

Looks like Burke found it again.

Yeah I thought that was an easy hit.

Colson rediscovering it is HUGE

Finally sheesh

This is boring.

Super sub is a good role for Sam, assuming Peters doesn't regress, Braden takes the next leap and Bonemer is a quality OF.

I really don't think Pham is going to replace Grichuk in LF against lefties. He might replace Braden in the starting lineup but I doubt it. They want him to get those at bats I'd imagine for his growth. Also then your outfield defense is pretty horrible. Pham is likely just to give them another right handed hitter option off the bench to play matchup games with in later innings.
