When the Sox were 11-22, I said get back to 43-43 by the end of interleague play on July 3rd. They need to go 18-12. Doable, and if it happens, they'll be right where they need to be. Indians are going backwards.

It was Harrell's turn in the rotation for Charlotte, he's already on the 40-man, and if Danks has a bad outing, they needed a pitcher that could give innings, so a bullpen pitcher in Charlotte wasn't much of an option. It's too bad there is suspicion of Bautista. It's a valid concern given what has happened in baseball, but what if this was the first legitimate PED-free run of Maris's record? That would be very cool, but we'll never know for sure.
