  1. Both trips back to Minnesota don't have off days around them, so that 6-man might come in handy in August.
  2. Game has been postponed. no makeup date.
  3. QUOTE (Cali @ Jun 14, 2011 -> 07:47 PM) When the Indians lose tonight, they will NEVER see first place again for the reason of the season. GUARANTEED. So you're guaranteeing the Indians won't win tomorrow? Pretty ballsy.
  4. QUOTE (spiderman @ Jun 14, 2011 -> 07:21 PM) Is that CT or ET? Minneapolis and Chicago are both CT. I'll go with that.
  5. I'd like to know if the Sox have ever made it through the first 68 games without a rainout ever before this season. Is there a stat for that?

  7. Radar looks bad, but hopefully the system will weaken over the next few hours. It would be fitting if the Sox first rain out of the season happened up there.
  8. I gotta say...the DH in the AL, pitchers hit in the NL doesn't bother me. AL fans like the DH. NL fans like pitchers hitting. It wouldn't bother me if they kept it the way it is, but if they're going to make it the same, they have to add the DH in the NL. There's no way the player's association is giving that up.
  9. QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Jun 14, 2011 -> 10:56 AM) If they did go to 15 teams in each league, what do they do about the odd number scheduling? Do you have an interleague matchup every week? Or does one team get a series off at a time? There would be either one or three interleague series going all season. If each team is playing 18 interleague games, that's 90 total interleague series spread out over 25 or 26 weeks...I'm hoping they shorten the regular season by a week and play some scheduled doubleheaders, or just play less games. So assuming they want interleague series mainly on weekends, they could have 20 weekends with 3 series each, and the other 30 series would be one at a time on weekday series and the rest of the weekends. I'd actually like to see them go down to 12 interleague games, which would mean 60 total interleague series spread out. Not that bad.

  12. #1-- I don't believe that. #2-- Couldn't they still sign him as a free agent if everyone passed on him?
  13. Draft's over. RHP - 20 LHP - 8 3B - 2 SS - 3 2B - 2 1B - 1 C - 7 OF- 7

  18. Reds just took Joe Terry in the 30th round. Sox drafted him last year pretty high.
  19. 30- LHP Brandon Parrent, Texas A&M. Sorry, Ozney. Maybe tomorrow.
  20. 29- Dustin Hayes, CF No School. 19 year old Canadian.
  21. They've gone this far, they can't take a high schooler with one of these last two picks. Watch them take 20 prep players tomorrow.
