3-run homer for Phegley. Having a decent season, and it's good to see he's healthy after what happened last year.

Some New Predictions
I don't care how many wins Humber gets since pitcher's win totals are meaningless. He's got 7 quality starts out of 10. If he gets 20 more starts, I'll say he ends up with 20 out of 30 quality starts. If the offense and bullpen helps him, he'll probably end up with 13-15 wins. I still think the Sox win 88-90 games. If they come up one game short no matter what, Kenny's got to go.

Spencer Arroyo...7 k's in the first three innings. Another decent lefty arm. Trade bait.

3-0 Indians vs rangers, 3rd. Uhh...we need them to lose five in a row. Every time I think they're about to hit the skids, they come up with a couple wins. And that's all they really need to do...play .500 the rest of the way, and they're going to be in it to the end.

6/2 Games
Teahen is finishing up his rehab assignment. He should be back tomorrow. Viciedo not in the lineup. I wish there was something to this with the sox facing five lefties on this homestand, but probably not.

TODAY IN SOX HISTORY: June 1st
QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Jun 1, 2011 -> 08:36 PM) It should be. Your standards are low, but then again, so are the White Sox.

Jackson would accept move to pen
If they're hesitant to move Jackson to the pen just because it will look bad considering the trade last year, that's not a good reason not to do it. Danks is an established White Sox starter. He has 6 quality starts this season. Jackson has 4. I'm not against riding out the 6-man as long as they can, but if anyone should be going to the pen it's Jackson. To me, it's not even a hard decision.

Sucks he doesn't get credit for a quality start, but those things even up at the end of the year. He'll get some cheap ones too.

I don't want to hear any "we won the series" crap after the game. Sweep these punks.

And that's a White Sox winner!!!!!!!
When the Sox were 11-22, I said get back to 43-43 by the end of interleague play on July 3rd. They need to go 18-12. Doable, and if it happens, they'll be right where they need to be. Indians are going backwards.

5/30 Games
8 shutout innings of one-hit ball for Santiago. 23-year-old lefty...might be worth keeping an eye on the rest of the year.
-
5/30 Games
Perfect game gone, but he pitched over a hit, balk, and two walks. Santiago--converted reliever. Having a pretty good year.
-
5/30 Games
Hector Santiago...no hitter through five. Pleading ignorance here...never heard of him.

Sox vs BoSox Memorial Day Game Thread 5-30-11
They better win this. Still can't believe Ozzie had Morel bunting on 2-0 with 2 walks in front of him.
