After tonight, that’s 125 starts from five dudes in 135 games. That’s pretty good in this era…probably the most in MLB this season. If Lopez and Lambert get 2-3 starts each this month, that’s ok.
They’re better in moderation. Definitely ready for them to retire them as the alternate. Maybe a couple more years. Have a 40th anniversary thing, and then no more.
Dodgers and Giants tied with 28 games left. They play three this weekend in SF. Season series is 8-8…not that it counts toward who wins the division and the other hosts the wildcard. But the winner this weekend would host 163 if necessary.
The Sox would have to beat the Astros by 1 game to get it though, since they won the season series 5-2, correct? So remaining games, Sox have to be 1.5 games better.
