  1. And he homers. You already know.
  2. Keuchel is starting the 6th for me, but it’s 2020.
  3. Leury would have at least stretched out Abreu’s hammies.
  4. Bubic reminds me of Mike Magnante. Go ahead and look him up...
  5. Donaldson came out of the Twins game for some reason.
  6. It’s going to be interesting to see the K-rate at the big league level. He keeps saying “it’s the same game” at each level, but I have to figure in a regular big league season, he’s gotta be good for 2 k’s a week.
  7. Very good. Not an offensive savior, but bat him 9th, work some counts, and make all the plays. We’re going to like this guy.
  8. If they want to make a new rule on the fly, keep 30-player rosters all season. The asterisk is getting bigger by the day, so do whatever. Hell, I’ll lighten up on the 7-inning doubleheaders too, because this season is kinda trash now.
  9. Eight days into a 67 day regular season, and it’s not looking too swell. I mean, we can hope for the best, but this is trending horribly.
  10. Bieber dominated the Twins. Indians starters are killing it so far.
  11. Still not a good enough reason in this case. Major league games are 9 innings until they can’t be because of weather. If they’re there to play, just play it out. It’s a bad rule. The man on 2nd rule, pitchers facing 3 batters, and the 7 inning doubleheader games are dumb. So is expanded playoffs. Everything else, I have no problem, like keeping travel regional.
  12. Is that what’s he’s calling it?
  13. What a ridiculous move. It’s 4 innings, and if the home team wins both, it’s 3 innings of pitching. The season becomes less credible with each new move.
  14. 90 minute drive to Miller Park though
  15. Ha, I almost posted the same thing in the 9th. Big Bert was terrible in those non-save situations.
  16. Good win. Needed that. Now don’t do anything stupid on a rainy off day in Kansas City. Sleep. Watch movies.
  17. Giolito will pitch into the 7th, get moved up to Monday to be on pace for the Iowa game, and the Sox will have a bullpen game versus the Brewers after Gonzalez makes one start on Saturday.
  18. 10% after tonight. 2-4 wouldn’t be that bad, heading into KC. I’m looking at this season (hopefully) in quarters. 8-7 each quarter will at least get them a 7-seed. If we can’t do that, then I don’t know what to say about this team. Let’s get Mazara and Madrigal up, and wrap Eloy in bubble wrap. The starting pitching will still be iffy, but they should score enough runs.
  19. Comfortable at bats for these hitters.
  20. Ok, Rodon. Let’s try to keep the pitch count down, huh?
  21. I know he works for the Chicago Sun Times, but we're on daylight time, not standard.
