  1. He’ll have to watch what he eats, but he’s just a huge human...so is Adolfo. Eloy will be a 1b/DH sooner than later.
  2. Webcast at 2 https://www.mlb.com/whitesox/video/brewers--white-sox/c-2523326583
  3. If Rutschman is available, that might be the easiest decision the Sox front office has ever made. The September losses were glorious.
  4. Just getting them playing time. There’s another split squad next Tuesday, and an off day Thursday. I’m guessing there will be a big cut day next Wed/Thurs, and then have two weeks to go with 40ish left.
  5. Chances are Eloy is playing longer and McCann will be out of there after 5 innings, 2-3 ab’s.
  6. Thought today was on whitesox.com, and it’s on the broadcast schedule, but I heard Bloom and King say Sunday was the next. Would be nice to have access to a regular lineup.
  7. Ban the opener. If you start a game, you aren't eligible to pitch for 4 days after. Takes the opener out of the equation, and the decision to pitch on three days rest. I know, probably an unpopular opinion.
  8. That means they’re required to be in the dugout for that amount of time to be a good teammate, then they head out.
  9. Monday's game will be on whitesox.com and rebroadcast Tuesday morning on MLBN, 5am The Tuesday game vs the Padres will be on whitesox.com Thursday will be on whitesox.com and the MLB Network 30 Clubs in 30 Days will feature the Sox on MLB Tonight.
  10. WGN radio and Cubs.com audio webcast
  11. Please, please, please....Robert and Adolfo play 125+ games this year.
  12. Point taken, but they could have gone back-and-forth with offers, and he still would have been in Philly. They weren't going to lose, in my opinion.
  13. I probably should have said "in a vacuum" they don't want to be here. Machado, yes, I think he could have been convinced to come here--that was the Sox failure. Harper? I'm not upset at all he's in Philadelphia considering the length of the contract.
  14. It would have been worse, but it also shows that they knew selling the White Sox rebuild to these premium free agents was going to be tough. No doubt, the money side of the deal with Machado was an epic fail, but all things equal, Machado and Harper had no interest playing for the White Sox.
  15. Yes. Total between Kannapolis and Winston-Salem, he hasn’t played much.
  16. AA seems too aggressive for a 21 yr old with a grand total of 190 plate appearances of full season ball.
  17. Really hope Winston-Salem to start and play everyday for at least two months. Biggest thing- please play 125+ games this year.
  18. 8 left from the 1959 team. Aparicio is the last living Sox player that played in the 59 Series. Barry Latman and Ken McBride were pitchers that played significant time with the Sox that year. Lou Skizas, OF and Claude Raymond, P played in April, 1959. Joe HIcks, OF, JC Martin, 3B, and Gary Peters, P were September callups in 1959. Skizas will be 87 in June, is the oldest. Raymond will be 82 in May, is the youngest.
  19. Jay, Anderson, Abreu, Alonso, Palka, Castillo, Moncada, Sanchez, Delmonico Garcia, McCann, Guyer Rodon, Nova, Lopez, Giolito, Covey until Santana is ready Banuelos, Fry, Minaya, Bummer, Ruiz, Jones, Herrera, Colome Probably have the pen wrong, but who cares?
  20. What’s the DL? (I’m so new school. Yeah right.)
  21. Don't think this is broadcast anywhere. What's Adolfo's status these days? Is he playing before spring training is over, or is he still out for a while?
