Rotation is setting up as Rodon, Lopez, Giolito, Nova, with Santana inserted 3 to 5, April 8th to 10th.

I’ll be as optimistic as I can be for the next couple years, because that’s all I can be for a non-playoff team. We need the kids to pan out.

No question, it was a shitty offseason based on what they were trying to accomplish- Manny Machado. It sucks. It’s over, and the goal is still the same...figure out a way to sustained success 2021-2025. If they get to a point where it’s clear that window of winning won’t happen, that’s when everyone needs to go. Everyone.

Some good news as spring training comes to a close next week...the weather will be better this year. We’re not going to have a repeat of last year’s April nonsense. Long range forecast has east of the Rockies warmer than normal through the first few weeks of April.

Really like Keuchel and think he’s got good years ahead of him, but the fit is terrible at this point. He’d be better off joining a contender on a 1-year deal, with an option or something like that.

Maybe calm down a little? I like Madrigal. His k-rate is incredible. To that extent, yes, wow. I’m sure he’ll have a great season in Birmingham.
