http://www.milb.com/scoreboard/index.jsp?c...mp;ymd=20180407 Cease is supposed to pitch today, but that may get rained out. Charlotte's game already banged.
  2. Not sure why they’re playing earlier Monday since there’s a better chance of snow in the morning and early afternoon, and the night temps aren’t much different.
  3. https://mobile.twitter.com/whitesox/status/...5001984/photo/1 Monday’s game changed to a day game. It would appear they’re playing Saturday and Sunday in the 30s. Against a division opponent, it’s not what I would do, but whatever.
  4. Dodgers-Giants rained out in sunny California.
  5. QUOTE (caulfield12 @ Apr 6, 2018 -> 10:57 AM) Spieth, just when you think he’s going to run away and hide...falls apart again. That Masters collapse really must have scarred his psyche. When he loses it, he really loses it. This is shaping up to be a good one. Rain tomorrow.
  6. The thing about Moncada is he’s a former #1 prospect, the tools are off the charts, and he was one the centerpiece players in the Sale deal. Add to it there are a lot young players that come up and are just good- Correa, Lindor, Seager, Bryant, etc. At some point, it’s gotta be the Sox turn to have one of these great young players that are just great at baseball. That all said, it’s six games, they got home at 2am last night, and it was probably the coldest weather he’s ever played in. He just needs to play, keep a positive attitude, and good things are going to happen.
  7. Covey deserves an ataboy.
  8. Bare minimum, don’t do anything drastic with the lineup for 5 weeks. Infante, on the other hand...
  9. QUOTE (fathom @ Apr 5, 2018 -> 07:44 PM) Dunning liked facing Brewers org without his nemesis in the lineup Erceg is his Newman
  10. The most important thing for Moncada is to just play. Way too early to move him down in the order.
  11. And it only took 4 hours in s*** weather. Perfect.
  12. Oh, still going, huh? Cmon Yoan.
  13. How about this idea...fewer bullpen pitchers and more tandem starts. If a starter is only going 5, have somebody behind him that can go 2-3 innings.
  14. Well this game went to hell...off to the minor league scoreboard...
  15. QUOTE (SoxAce @ Apr 5, 2018 -> 06:40 PM) Giolito has had some awful luck to start this year. Second game he's gonna pitch tomorrow and will be cold as hell. The game is Saturday, and I’m not so sure it won’t be Monday vs TB
  16. I thought that was a bloop single off the bat. DP please...
  17. Tito Polo needs to be our eventual 4th outfielder. Such a cool name.
  18. Rahimi>Santos, in every way
  19. We’re kinda like the 2014 Cubs now. Some pieces will be here, but two years from now, juggernaut.
  20. QUOTE (Dunt @ Apr 5, 2018 -> 08:37 AM) Is that the actual reason? I imagine it had to do with scheduling and lining him up with somebody but wasn't sure Kopech is going 5th. If they bring up a starter for KC, I’d bet on Volstad. 40-man is at 39 now.
  21. QUOTE (Jose Abreu @ Apr 5, 2018 -> 12:05 PM) Kopech was supposedly starting today. Is he hurt? No. He said he threw live batting practice to his teammates a couple days ago. He’s just further back on the schedule.
  22. Looks like the snow will stay south of the park. Just going to be cold. Wonder if they’ll opt to not play Saturday and Sunday and just play doubleheaders in June and September.
  23. Thomas and McIlroy, but Alex Noren is my pick to win...why not.
