  1. April 28. Day/Night doubleheader.
  2. After three days, I think we have our five postseason teams in the AL. http://www.espn.com/mlb/standings/_/group/league
  3. QUOTE (CWSpalehoseCWS @ Mar 31, 2018 -> 10:16 PM) Danny Hayes was released from Charlotte. Makes sense given his age and the logjam of bats that need playing time there. Twins gotta pick him up, right?
  4. I’m rooting for Gabe Kapler to fail in Philadelphia, and so far he’s pulled Nola after 68 pitches in a shutout and called to the bullpen with nobody warming up.
  5. I just hope when he does start playing, it’s a full season of ABs in the minors. Let him dominate down there.
  6. Nice game. Giolito settled down-probably amped up and not used to pitching in the 40s. Welington(one l) came through. Moncada is a stud. Renteria is proving Ventura’s years here were a complete waste.
  7. Same lineup https://mobile.twitter.com/CST_soxvan/statu...156597937889280
  8. Hahn went pretty in depth on the Tatis trade this morning. Give it a listen when it's up. http://podbay.fm/show/398083094
  9. QUOTE (bmags @ Mar 31, 2018 -> 09:55 AM) I don’t understand playing weekend night games for north teams in April. Agreed, I mean it's still March for crying out loud. It's stupid not to maximize the warmest part of the day, and it rains a lot this time of year....give yourself more time to get the game in.
  10. Going for the 2-game sweep. Doubt they play Sunday. Sox go back to KC at the end of April and September. And yes, skip Fulmer until the Rays series.
  11. Sox 1-0 Cle 0-1 Det 0-1 KC 0-1 Min 0-1 We don’t have to better. We just have to be as good the last 161.
  12. Tigers thought they won a walk off, but the call at the plate was reversed. Gardenhire ejected in his first game. Crazy reversal.
  13. Tigers score 4 in the 9th to tie the Pirates. Rivero walked a bunch. Don’t the Pirates know the Sox have 1st place alone riding on this?
  14. Reality check for the day... When two kinda crappy teams play each other, one of them has to win. Last year, the Sox went 13-25 vs the Indians and Twins and 10-24 against other playoff teams... 23-49 in those 72 games, and 44-46 in the other 90. This year, they have 64 games against last year’s postseason teams. Let’s see if there is an improvement.
  15. Kluber down early Sox going wire-to-wire!
  16. Ty Blach beats Kershaw 1-0 at Dodger Stadium
  17. A couple more games tonight, but out of the 22 starting pitchers today, James Shields and Chase Anderson threw the most pitches with 97. Four starting pitchers (so far) got Wins- Shields, Syndergaard, Severino, and Verlander
  18. Donaldson can’t throw the ball from 3rd. Sox in Toronto on Monday.
  19. W- Shields (1-0)
  20. QUOTE (Jose Abreu @ Mar 29, 2018 -> 06:34 PM) Jeanmar Gomez deserved Minaya's spot. Or Farquhar's really Could have been. They went chalk based on last year’s ending performance. Actually I was thinking Infante really could have been sent down. Bottom line, we’ll see them all at some point. There are 10-15 pitchers not on the team now that will be at some point.
  21. QUOTE (Heads22 @ Mar 29, 2018 -> 06:23 PM) wrong wrong I know. Just terrible.
  22. Holy s***! Should have predicted three!!!!
  23. I hope we don’t find out who the closer is today.
  24. Great game for Bundy vs Twins. O’s win in 10
  25. QUOTE (flavum @ Mar 29, 2018 -> 01:02 PM) Bold predictions today: Shields goes 6+, 2 ER Davidson goes deep twice Close enough.
