I like Ricky R. I don't want him fired, even when we get good. However ... Avi batting second is ridiculous. It makes no sense. I'd prefer Sally or Anderson second even if Anderson doesn't walk ever. Do u all agree this is beyond absurd to have Avi hit second? Move him down where he belongs before he turns back into the old lousy version of Avi.

It’s actually optimal to put one of your best hitters in the second spot.

 

If you have guys that really drive the baseball coming up 3-5, you shouldn’t really need to advance the runner.
