Assuming Davidson starts today in Game 79: Sox players: 2015- 40 total/ 21 pitchers 2016- 40 total/ 22 pitchers (Not including position players pitching a random inning) Sox were pretty healthy last year. Too bad Samardzija was garbage, and a few other factors.

Shields might get lucky tonight. He's due for some of that.

The way the Astros and a couple other teams look, the Sox should have clarity soon that they're out of it.

Good for Davidson. It didn't look good that he would get back to the big leagues. Hope he makes the most of it.
