  1. I'll throw this out there...maybe with Duffy being on a 60 pitch count, they want Sands there in the early innings, and then they could pinch hit for him after two at bats.

    http://www.milb.com/scoreboard/index.jsp?c...mp;ymd=20160521 Marin and Fulmer starting. Kannapolis dh. Erik Johnson was supposed to start today, I believe. I could see them sending down Purke after Sunday and bring up Johnson and Turner for Monday--get as many innings covered as possible.
  4. Have to go 10-8 vs the Royals to win the season series, like a winning team should do. Wins today and tomorrow would go a long way.
  5. QUOTE (Lip Man 1 @ May 20, 2016 -> 10:24 PM) 2-7 since that Texas Two-Step Night. You have the feeling it's going to be a very long weekend. Back to the same s*** for Q...no run support. You get handled easily by the Danny Gee's of the world there isn't much more to say is there? Mark Danny/Dillon Actually, I think it was Rupert Gee from the Hello Deli.
  6. This team really started 23-10? Wow.
  7. No pressure, but the Sox really need to win 4 of 5 starting tomorrow. This losing spell has got to stop.

    Aumont is what we call in the business, bad.
  9. Q might have to go 9 tonight
  10. Just noticed we'll probably miss Syndergaard, which I'm cool with.

    QUOTE (OmarComing25 @ May 20, 2016 -> 07:42 PM) Sighing over 2 AB? I took it as a joke.

    Anderson 1-3, picked off
  14. Nice break, but robot umpires.
  15. Fraternization during a game should be a fine.
  16. Looks like a good crowd tonight.
  17. Quintana is on another level this year. Always good, but he's up there with the best.

    Damn good start for Adams against that monster Salem lineup.

    Curious if they made any mechanical changes with Ranaudo in his short time there. Doing well so far.
  20. QUOTE (chitownsportsfan @ May 20, 2016 -> 07:04 PM) God I f***ing hate the schedule now. Inter league all year and what, 60 odd games in the division every year? Gets boring. Agreed. If it were up to me, there would be no divisions. Just 15 teams in each league playing a close-to-balanced schedule and the top 3 make the playoffs, and the 4th and 5th best teams play one game to get in. As far as interleague, I'd get it down to 12 games instead of 20.
  21. 55 of the next 114 (48.2%) are against the Royals, Indians, and Tigers. So let's be the best and make the postseason. Do it!
