  1. 55 of the next 114 (48.2%) are against the Royals, Indians, and Tigers. So let's be the best and make the postseason. Do it!
  2. http://www.milb.com/scoreboard/index.jsp?c...mp;ymd=20160520 Ranaudo, Guerrero, and Adams start
  3. QUOTE (Dunt @ May 20, 2016 -> 10:52 AM) Jesus, just looked at Delmonico's numbers, he is absolutely destroying AA. Move him to AAA immediately. Age 23 season too...maybe it's because of the sketchy past that we kinda put him off to the side a little, but that's legit prospect numbers.
  4. Indians swept the Reds, but they're still only 5-5 in interleague. NYM 1-2 Phi 0-3 Cin 4-0 They have 4 left with Nationals, 3 at Braves, 3 home vs Marlins
  5. Next 29: Royals 10 games (6-4) Indians 7 games (4-3) Tigers 6 games (4-2) Mets/Nationals (3-3) 17-12. 42-28 on June 19.
  6. It was a pleasure to be in attendance for win #9. Even after the homer, you knew he was going to finish it off. Next 6 starts vs Royals, Tigers, and Indians. Go get 'em.
  7. Point being, Chris Sale is throwing his first no-hitter tonight.
  8. QUOTE (Jose Abreu @ May 19, 2016 -> 10:02 AM) Did he take a perfect game into the 7th when he one-hit LAA, or was that the 6th? Good call. He did take a no-hitter to the 7th. http://www.baseball-reference.com/boxes/CH...201305120.shtml
  9. The Indians are now percentage points ahead of the Rangers for the 2nd wildcard. Indians well ahead of the Sox in the playoff odds now, which is understandable considering they were ahead even when the Sox were winning every day.
  10. Has Sale ever taken a no-hitter to the 7th?
  11. QUOTE (Real @ May 18, 2016 -> 10:30 PM) Coming back to expectations They're right at .600 ball, which of course was going to happen in the long run. But after starting 23-10, there really is no good excuse for them not to win 90 games, short of having injuries. 67-62 after 23-10 should be realistic.
  12. QUOTE (Dunt @ May 18, 2016 -> 10:16 PM) Cannot believe that massive division lead is just going to evaporate in a weeks time There's something the Sox can do in the next week to prevent that.
  13. Lucroy would look good in a Sox uni
  14. Just can't let the valleys get too deep. Need Sale to win again, and then put it to the teams in the Central.
  15. QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ May 18, 2016 -> 10:05 PM) Great pitch on 3-1 It really was. That was nasty. 3-0 I mean
  16. We need a good old fashioned game ending 3-run homer. How bout it?
  17. QUOTE (ChiSoxFanMike @ May 18, 2016 -> 09:35 PM) At least they don't go down without a fight. That line is losing steam.
  18. Need a good comeback win to get the juice back.
  19. Turner through 5. No walks. Gave up a couple homers. Probably the guy coming up Monday.
  20. Turner through 3 without walking anyone. Did give up a homer to Vargas.
  21. QUOTE (BlackSox13 @ May 18, 2016 -> 06:24 PM) Anderson triples in his first ab and is now batting .301. I'm not saying "bring him up", but I'd be curious to know what the opinion of people watching him everyday is on his readiness. Obviously more seasoning would be a good thing, but the thought of a true under-25 rookie in the everyday lineup is an exciting prospect for a contending team.
  22. QUOTE (reiks12 @ May 18, 2016 -> 06:21 PM) With the AL central rivals winning today (and thr Indians more than likely going to beat up on the hapless reds), it would sure be nice to win today It's fun to scoreboard watch, but bottom line--good teams win at home. The Sox are home for 9 more games and they really need to go 6-3. Whatever the other teams are doing is worth keeping an eye on, but the Sox need to get back to taking care of business.
