Obviously, I hope he didn’t do anything because it means he didn’t abuse women and his kids, and didn’t drive around on drugs. But, like you, I’ve never liked this guy in any way. He’s looks like he smells. His delivery is stupid—and now illegal, by the way. And he’s had a pattern of saying and doing stupid things. I don’t like him. I don’t want to root for him on the one team I support. So in the end, I want this to end with him never pitching for the White Sox after March 30th.

Well, she’s meeting with MLB investigators tomorrow, and there’s 6 weeks until the season starts. Hey, 6 weeks until opening day! Exciting, isn’t it?! No?

I‘m at the point of just hoping the end result is Mike Clevinger never pitching in a real game with the Sox. This is supposed to be fun- you know, being a fan. You can’t have this guy on the team March 30th. So hopefully the process will play itself out soon, and it’s just a matter of how much money the Sox will be on the hook for.

Sometimes judging a book by the cover works. Clevinger would have qualified before they signed him. Fire Hahn.

Don’t understand why they couldn’t play regular baseball in the 10th and 11th, when most extra inning games end anyway. I’ll be turning the game off after the 9th. These are coin flip games. Hopefully better teams win most of these in the long run, and when the Sox are good, they win the majority. I won’t be watching.

Maybe MLB will put him on leave this Friday- you know, right before pitchers report and buried news-wise by the Super Bowl.

I’m just going to assume Clevinger won’t be there on Feb 15, and he’ll never pitch for the Sox. That’s what I’m expecting. If it turns out the Sox lose money, then it’s just another thing on the list that makes this organization one of the worst in MLB…starts at the top. Now go sign Wacha.

Kind of strange he died on December 20. There are tweets on that day that he died, but it didn’t get reported until today. Had a good career too.

Peters pitched in two September, 1959 games. There are six remaining living players from the pennant winning team: Luis Aparicio, SS and Ken McBride, P Lou Skizas, OF and Claude Raymond, P played in April of 59. Joe Hicks, OF and JC Martin, 3B were also September call ups.

Beltran’s jump next year will be interesting. I’d like to see Beltran, Beltre, Wagner, and Helton to get in next year. Maybe Mauer the following year on his second ballot with Jones, Ichiro, and Sabathia. They need a good cluster of guys getting in the next couple years.

Take it for what it’s worth, but the Royals GM said today it would take a lot to part with Lopez and he expects him to be on the 2023 Royals.

Yellowstone is out of ideas in the current season, but it’s ok. I’m a full two episodes into Succession, and I really like it! Looking forward to getting though these three seasons.
