Arizona Fall League - 7 Sox prospects
QUOTE (flavum @ Oct 16, 2014 -> 04:07 PM) I think the Glendale game is free video tonight. Of course that means no White Sox prospects will play, probably. http://m.mlb.com/video/topic/7617858/v3680...dogs-at-rafters On that video link, you can see Mark Appel get called for a pitch clock violation. I already hate it, but I'm glad they'll find out how stupid it is in the AFL, and not in March.

Your 2015 Offseason Plan
After the Pirates called up Polanco, I've been thinking Travis Snider makes a lot of sense for the Sox.

Your 2015 Offseason Plan
QUOTE (Dick Allen @ Oct 16, 2014 -> 03:24 PM) He was really good this year, but had shoulder issues. I don't think he pitched the last 2 weeks. Maybe he found something, but he was with 4 or 5 organizations the last 4 or 5 years. I wouldn't count on him being healthy or effective in 2015. I'd bring him back though. Just saying he's under team control and he's coming off a very good season. Obviously he has to be healthy, but for now, it should be assumed he's in the pen next year.

What did you do with Zach Putnam?

Your 2015 Offseason Plan
Not familiar with that Brian Anderson, but if he just got drafted in June, he isn't eligible to be traded this winter. I also think Peavy probably had enough here. He loves the NL too.

Carlos Rodon's Super Fun Time Adventure
After they didn't call him up in September, they might as well go all the way now with his service time. Unless they make an unexpected trade, I'm ok with Sale, Quintana, Noesi, Danks, and Bassitt to start the year.

QUOTE (pettie4sox @ Oct 15, 2014 -> 09:03 PM) I didn't see what happened? The runner was going from first, the follow through of the bat hit AJ in the head while the ball bounced away. So instead of going for the ball, AJ flopped so the runner would be sent back to 1B. It was classic AJ. It was heads up, but once the bat hit his head, wouldn't it be a dead play whether he went for the ball or not?

QUOTE (MexSoxFan#1 @ Oct 15, 2014 -> 07:36 PM) Anything beats McCarver though McCarver was terrible in his own way, but Harold Reynolds is ruining watching baseball. I'd take boring Cal Ripken over motormouth any day.
