Tommy Hanson gave up 9 in 4.2, was relieved by Mitchell Boggs who gave up 2 in 1.1. Good work fellas.

Hawk: "You're not gonna sneak up on Scioscia, he's one of the best" as he takes Wilson out in the 8th with a 4 -0 lead after giving up a walk.
Whatever Ventura says or Hawk says, maybe Robin learned something last night. We'll see what he does the next time they're in a similar spot. Or Coop.

5 game minimum. All because he thought Donaldson tagged him too hard. Prick.
And then he said the bat slipped after the game. Man up. Just say you were frustrated, and acted like an idiot.

Manny Machado acted like a little b**** this weekend.
That's a suspension, and hopefully Showalter and his teammates get all over him for that.

Quintana is 3-5 with a 3.23 ERA, 59 S0, 20 BB, and a 1.27 WHIP. Could be a dark horse for all-star team
No chance
I kinda hope Anderson gets some outfield work in winter ball or in instructionals. It would be pretty tough to send a bad SS to AA. It will work itself out though.

Why are people ignoring the fresh arm gave up the go ahead run.
That was when the game was tied with nobody on. You can spin it any way you want. Once Sale was getting in deep crap, it was time to go. If Petricka came in with two on in a 5-1 game, it could have gone much better for the Sox. We'll never know though.
I didn't have a problem with Sale starting the 8th, but he's not superman. After one in, two on, get a fresh arm in there--especially after having a stressful 7th.

All year I've been hearing about how much heart this team has, but now suddenly they are soft because the best hitter in the world hit a home run.
I'm just pissed.
My problem with Ventura is that I never feel he's in charge of anything. He's just a face with words coming out of it before and after the games. It's pretty on-par with what is going on in baseball...Hire a nice guy that the players like, give him information, let him manage more-or-less "by the book", and do interviews.
