If Paulino can get through the 5th, that's a pretty decent first start for a 5th starter that just happens to be pitching the second game.

Hard to believe Flowers is one of 30 starting catchers in baseball.

So I see Scherzer was pretty confident turning down that extension.

If Buehrle is on, I'll watch. For guys like Rios and Peavy and Quentin, I immediately forgot they were here as soon as they were gone. Really, Buehrle is the only former Sox that I care to watch and root for future success. As far as trades, as long as the players coming back to the Sox do well, I don't care about the ones traded that do well. It's good for the Sox if both sides get value.

No day games on the second day of the season. I'm going to guess that's a first.
