  1. Wacha no hitter thru 6. 70 pitches
  2. I hope Paulie gets a nice send off on Sunday.
  3. QUOTE (witesoxfan @ Sep 24, 2013 -> 03:18 PM) They can win these. They are all but guaranteed a top 5 pick and being 2 1/2 ahead of the Cubs for the 3 spot and 4 ahead of the Twins puts them in a good position to get the #3 pick regardless. Still, Cleveland has killed them all year. No need to think they'll stop now. Just to be exact, the Sox Magic Numbers are: Cubs - 4 Twins - 3 Mariners-1 3-3 for the Sox, with the Cubs going 1-4 gets the Sox the 3rd pick.
  4. QUOTE (fathom @ Sep 24, 2013 -> 03:13 PM) Interesting, I wonder if he's on a leave for some reason. No way he got traded. It's possible he has an injury and they just told him to stay home for the two days. That would make sense especially with expanded rosters.
  5. Dan Hayes tweeting Keppinger not on lineup card as backup, and no locker for him in the clubhouse.
  6. https://twitter.com/whitesox/status/3825843...4187266/photo/1 2 quick losses and come home to finish it.
  7. Twins beat the Tigers. Good for the Sox.
  8. Quintana with a win? Wow.
  9. Reds and Pirates win. Cardinals going to the 9th up 4-3.
  10. Addison Reed is fatigued, or something.
  11. Looks like the Cubs and Twins will lose tonight. C'mon Veal, give it up.
  12. It sucks Phegley isn't good.
  13. Can't wait to see what those two young players can do with 600 at bats next year.
  14. QUOTE (Buehrle>Wood @ Sep 23, 2013 -> 06:57 PM) I hope we beat the Indians twice. Axelrod is starting. But seriously, if the Sox go 5-2 and drop to the 4th or 5th pick, that would be so White Sox.
  15. Rays sweep the Orioles. TB 87-69 Cle 86-70 Tex 84-71
  16. De Aza CF Ramirez SS Keppinger DH Konerko 1B Garcia RF Viciedo LF Beckham 2B Semien 3B Phegley C 4 losses this week for the 3rd pick, or 3 losses and 1 win from the Cubs and Twins...we can count on them for one win hopefully. Final starting pitching is set: Tonight: Quintana Indians: Santiago, Axelrod Royals: Rienzo, Sale, Johnson, Quintana
  17. QUOTE (HickoryHuskers @ Sep 23, 2013 -> 07:00 AM) Ohio. Yeah, could be. It would be interesting if the Reds and Pirates play a best-of-3 this weekend to see who hosts the game. The season series is tied.

Dexter was a total money grab the last 2-3 seasons. If there was ever an example of a show that shouldn't have gone past 5 seasons, this is the show. Stupid season. Uninteresting ending.
  19. In my opinion, Johnson is a lock starter next year. Santiago will get traded, and the rotation will be Sale, Danks, Quintana, Johnson, and Rienzo and a free agent will compete for the 5th spot. The loser of the 5th spot and Leesman will be in long relief.
  20. Good chance the Wildcard Games are Indians/Rays, Reds/Pirates. The question is, where will they be played?
  21. Quintana and Santiago won't be teammates next year. Need to move one (preferably Santiago) to get offense.
  22. Rios trying to tag from 2B on Alex Gordon...fail.
  23. 7-12 vs the Tigers this year. Better than I thought they would.
  24. If the Sox clear out some of the dead weight, and make some shrewd moves for the offense, they could have an entertaining team in 2014, a winning team in 2015, and a playoff team in 2016.
