  1. All I know is what they've tried to do the last FIVE years hasn't worked, if you assume this season is lost. And if not for a coin flip and a weak division in 08, it would be 8 years without the playoffs. I'm not one to say blow it up for the sake of blowing it up. But if they fall out of it over the next month, you got to find out what Peavy and Rios are worth. And Thornton and Crain. And if there's a surprise move in there somewhere, you do it if it makes sense. The Sox need to rebuild the offense over the next couple years. If they can get a couple offensive pieces that can be here in 2014 or 2015, then you got to try to do it.
  2. Danks is getting at least one more start in the minors. I'm going to say his first start is at home against Miami next Friday.
  3. Masterson wins 1-0. Francona respected the Baseball Gods.

http://www.milb.com/scoreboard/index.jsp?s...mp;ymd=20130513 Erik Johnson on the mound. 2 K's in the 1st. Semien back in the lineup after being out this weekend.
  7. I'll get excited about the Sox again if they can get their 30th win before their 30th loss. They need to get on a run right now.
  8. http://espn.go.com/mlb/standings/_/group/5 Chasing 5th place and a positive run differential.
  9. Would have been funny to have perfect games back-to-back years and Hawk missing both of them. Oh well.
  10. The week of the one-hitter. Do it.
  11. Sox face Pedro Hernandez tomorrow night. We should be ok.
  12. QUOTE (Soxfest @ May 12, 2013 -> 09:07 PM) Losers and cowards live in the past. DIT-KITH. See that buddy? That's your IQ.
  13. Woo woo
  14. QUOTE (Soxfest @ May 12, 2013 -> 09:03 PM) De Aza so worthless. And he was so valuable last year. He was very good for most of the year.
  15. No, really. Get a run.
  16. Even in his first couple pitches of the game, Sale looked extra crispy. Let's get a run here.
  17. QUOTE (bmags @ May 12, 2013 -> 06:00 PM) LOL Sergio That was something at 17.
  18. Yankees sweep the royals in KC. Does their logo get wins on their own?
  19. Indians win. 20-15.
  20. QUOTE (fathom @ May 12, 2013 -> 03:18 PM) Davey Johnson pulled Gio today after 7 innings and 86 pitches of 2 hit baseball. Storen quickly came in and gave up the lead. Needless to say, the Nationals fans are not happy with Johnson's managing this season. The Baseball Gods hate when pitchers are pulled in 1-0 games with less than 100 pitches.
  21. Valverde...blown save. 3-3 going to the bottom of the 9th.
  22. Danks is probably done. 6 IP, 7 hits, 3 runs, 2 er, 3 bb, 5 k 101 pitches, 66 strikes. I don't know. Maybe one more rehab start.
  23. 4th- Ground out walk, caught stealing (Bryan Anderson) Strikeout
  24. QUOTE (Soxfest @ May 12, 2013 -> 02:17 PM) Since the day his kid was born he has been awful. And he gets dumped on Mother's Day. Ouch.
