Decent chance of a rain delay tonight. Because it’s the Sox season.

Flying to Detroit after the game.

Listening to that. The Cease bullpen thing -they’re wrong. It was a side session because of the change of rotation…because of the Kopech injury. I never once thought they were using Cease today.

If they fire him next Monday after the Houston series, it would be exactly 36 years apart. Won’t happen, but the symmetry would be cool.

Screw it, tie it up again, Let’s get nuts!

I swear the Sox would have found a way to ruin Trout 10 years ago.

LuBob needs a moment (and a new stance)

Those are scary

Imagine being on this team, and then having to fly to Detroit. Ick.

Seby isn’t seeing it

Maybe it’s a Johnson rod.

Rooting for you, Josh

Makeup call for Seager

That was unsatisfying.

Haseley homer

I’d guess Lucas said not to ask about it before the interview even started. Any normal interviewer would have asked about the fans chanting at the end of the game.

I think if you only saw the record and knew about the injuries and when guys are coming back, PLUS the easiest remaining schedule, you could get there and think this team has a chance to win an AL Championship. When you watch games regularly and see their inept decisions, you know there’s no way this our year.

Giolito is on the Score now as I drink my morning coffee and eat my Werther’s Originals. (softball interview by his friend, Cody Decker. No mention of the manager)

Zavala is up, per DVS

Multiple ejections in the Charlotte game for the opponent. Wonder what happened there?

Ah, ok thanks. Thought when I clicked on there before I posted he was in lineup.

Zavala is in the lineup tonight, fwiw

How many people on the planet think Tony has done a good job and should continue as manager? Maybe a couple dozen? Nobody wants him here. The players may say the right thing just to stay out of it, but there’s no way La Russa is bringing any value to the team in its most important year of the post-rebuild years. This guy has to go now!

Fire Tony

Agreed. Get to 10 under .500 asap, sell, new coaching staff next year. Try again.
