Um, Mendoza sucks. I don't know if you noticed, but he is part of the BoSox pen, which is awful. I like the Mota, Shuey, or Quantrill idea better.

I know all about him, but I was wondering a few things. What is his size (height and weight), and what pitches does he throw? Is he a mid 90's pitchers?

I heard the Cubs are looking to move Bako, their backup catcher. If so, Josh could end up being their backup. I hope the best for Josh and that he finds a place where he gets to play.

Right now, I'd start Loaiza. But, if Mark keeps pitching well, I could honestly see starting him. I would be extremly happy with our roatation in the playoffs. We'd be really strong anyway we go.

I think most people get bored at games, and they are just looking for something to do. If I did the wave, I would not go full out like everyone else.

I think what Molto means is, talk to PK before you send him down. Work it out so he knows what is going on, and that he will be back up in due time. If he wants what is best for the team, he would do it. We already saw Josh Paul refuse an assignment earlier this season.

We'd have to throw in someone like Cotts to make a deal like Alomar and Benitez for Ring, Almonte, Salvo, an another prospect. They want alot for Benitez. Not worth it.

Never say we can't resign him. It seems Sandy likes Chicago, and he could help up keep Robbie after this season.

I heard people on here talking about it earlier. Pierre will not be traded anytime soon. I do not see why they would trade him. They Marlins want cheap, productive players. He had 3 stolen bases today, and a total of 39. Why would they include him?

If you are trading Cotts, I think it has to be Weaver. Alomar is getting up there is age, and Weaver has a chance to get back to were he was with the Tigers. I can't stand Weaver, I don't think anyone likes him. I wouldn't trade Cotts for either.

The Expos want to get rid of Fernando Tatis anyways. Vidro is one of the top 2B's in the game. He should be an AS again this year. Alomar will be a Hall of Famer one day, do you think he'd be willing to move to 3B? I just don't see him being willing. I can't see Tatis getting benched, while he's making $6.5 million a year for a team like the Expos. He's on the DL right now anyways. I have no idea when he comes off.

We do need to get Castillo, but what will we have to give up to get him? If I was the Marlins, I'd ask for top prospects.

Yeah, Jose Vidro is better than Alomar, so the Expos are out. Shannon Stewart has been hurt a little bit this season. I think the Jays would be willing to deal him now that Reed Johnson has been playing a little bit better. The Jays need bullpen help very badly. Cliff Pollite is not a closer. I assumer the Jays would ask for some pen help. Who would be the leadoff hitter for the Jays too. I just don't see this deal happening. I would like to see Stewart come here though.

What does BMR stand for anyways?

Oh, I wouldn't trade him either. Only guys I would trade are Konerko and Rios no problem. I don't think we need to trade the others.

Guys are available. Obviously you can get most of the NY Mets. Giles has been linked to the Yankees. Castillo is out of Fla if they cannot climb any higher in the NL East. Ponson is being shopped, although O's seem to want an awful lot. If we could get Alomar or Castillo, I'd be happy taking that team into October.

I am glad to hear that. I think Castillo and Alomar would be the guys though. I do not see anyone else who would upgrade a position who is available.
