It is not how many All-Stars you have, it is how many solid players you have. I'd rather not overpay for Maggs. I won't compare the two, but I'd perfer the Everett plus cash, over Magglio. Saying the $10 million can't help replace our holes. How about getting some bullpen help, and another starter. Also, could potentially pick up a second basemen, or a SS if Jose leaves. A catcher could be in the works too.
