I really think Siggy Hasegawa could turn it around here. If the M's pay some of his salary, I'd pull the trigger on a deal for him. He did get stretched out too much last season, but he could really help us IMHO.

I know so many people who go to Marquette. Seems like some transfer. Marquette also seemed to let anyone in last year, plus even if you don't get straight-out accepted, you could still get in by taking some summer crap. I know West Point and Air Force kids too, they're insane though. The problem with schools like the academies are that there is such competetion for them. It is as much about who you know, as it is what you can do. I have heard nothing bad about U of Illinois, but I won't lie, Michigan State is awesome.

Oh shush....when we have recruits, we study with them, have some Bible study, and then call it an early night at around 8:30pm. BTW, 1549, what ya being recruited for?

I watched it everyday years ago when it was on ESPN. Then a few years ago it went to Fox Sports, and it wasn't convered on weekends, so you would miss parts. Now it is on OLN, and well, I don't get that channel. I don't know anyone who does, so yeah.

No, that is what it is ultimately about. It is all about money and fans wanting to see. I disagree with each team, as the reason I will not watch, but the eight year olds who only know Sosa, Griffey, and co, want to see them.

I will not watch the All-Star Game. You cannot tell me that the Twins and Sox both only deserve one player, while a team that is behind both of them gets four players. I will not watch any of the festivities. I have zero interest because it is not the best players going. Barry Larkin is another question for me.

Um, am I the only one who doesn't think the catch was all too great? He jumped into the stands. He could have kept running along the fence IMHO. Ryan Freel's catch was much tougher, and Freel had to jump into the stands to catch the ball. Jeter is terribly overrated, and I would take our team leader, and SS, Jose Valentin, over him anyday.

I just want out minor league teams to do well. I don't care if the Sox ever make the playoffs. I think we should build for the 2010 season.

I agree. Uribe was suppose to be our utility guy too, anyone remember that? I love watching Uribe play, and I love the fact he is on this team.
