He was called Crazy Carl Everett at times here last year. I call him Crazy, not Jurassic, but I think Jurassic is a better nickname.

They tried to trade him all last year. They almost made it mandatory for anyone who took Giles to take Kendall, but no one would bite. There was a ton of talk about him still going to San Diego. What are you talking about? He has been shopped for awhile now. Its monetary reasons.

I am sorry, but I personally think some people are overvaluing Magglio. It is not how many All-Stars you have, it is how many solid players you have. I'd rather not overpay for Maggs. I won't compare the two, but I'd perfer the Everett plus cash, over Magglio. Saying the $10 million can't help replace our holes. How about getting some bullpen help, and another starter. Also, could potentially pick up a second basemen, or a SS if Jose leaves. A catcher could be in the works too. I really think everyone here overvalues Maggs.

He played a bit of 2B last winter. I remember for a fact because there was alot of talk about him playing 2B. That was where it was looking he'd end up for this season.

I would take him if we could get him. He would bring fans with him. Nomar is beloved....he could be a superstar we could market, we really don't have one right now. Put Jose at 2B -- which he played in winter ball -- and use Uribe as a break giver. Let Uribe play four times a week. If we could sign Nomar long term. It doesn't look like we are going to resign Magglio, and I really would love to get Nomar.
