I was suprized that he didn't pitch this series, but lets face it, this argument is way too after the fact. I mean lets say he does pitch and loses, there will always be that post that says "WHY DIDNT VAZQUEZ/BURHRLE/FLOYD" start. Ozzie knows this ballclub better than any of us. But man am I tired of seeing Vazquez with his head up his ass.

I don't think you need instant replay for calls like tonight. Although it is very annoying when Hawk starts his umpires rant, I think there is some truth to having the best umpires work the games that matter. That pick off wednesday was huge, and so was Swishers check swing.

I still think the Royals have a good chance to take 2 or 3. I mean, they do have some decent speed guys on that team. I'm just looking for any reason to be positive. Also, Cliff Lee has not won in his last couple starts. Could happen people.

In my opinion this sucks.

The Linebrink injury was key because everybody had to move up a spot. So when a guy like Carrasco steps up just when Contreras goes down, it hurt the pen once again. I do think that there is some silver lineing with Linebrink being out, and that is some much needed rest, albeit not the kind of rest you want, but it could work in our favor
