Biggest concern of the Bears game was the lack of a pass rush. Peppers was getting double teamed and no one else stepped up. You can only expect Peanut & Jennings to do so much. Standard Cutler game. Did well on the run, some great passes, one WTF interception.

QUOTE (Chisoxfn @ Sep 8, 2013 -> 04:08 PM) Yep. Be ignorant. ND is a good team. Michigan is a really good team. Last night was a fun, close game, and the best team won. STRETCH! Get on back there! -
QUOTE (Brian @ Sep 8, 2013 -> 04:26 PM) I thought it was soft. Not that violent of a shove and you took the game out of the players hands. It was soft but it was 100% the right call. The rule might suck but that's how the game is nowadays.

QUOTE (Brian @ Sep 7, 2013 -> 10:10 PM) Now Gardner's in his own head. Shank. Choke. He had just watched the Eminem halftime interview and his mind was just blown. -
I don't know who that is

QUOTE (RockRaines @ Sep 5, 2013 -> 10:43 AM) Wes and CT have both folded in final challenges due to lack of endurance before. Also, they arent the greatest at puzzles. I personally think the rookies win. I'd like for CT to win, but those past struggles and Wes not being on PEDs worries me. I also think that the rookies will win, they are the best all-around team. Just don't let Frank f***ing win. Paula & Emily have it locked up.

QUOTE (BigSqwert @ Sep 5, 2013 -> 09:51 AM) If it wasn't for Rafi, I would have dropped The League last year. The show is just stale and tries way too hard. I agree. They seem to be more concerned with making the most over-the-top joke instead of just being funny. Don't have much of an urge to watch this year.

QUOTE (danman31 @ Sep 7, 2013 -> 02:49 PM) And given the remaining schedules, it's going to be very unlikely for Mexico to get back into the top 3. It's pretty amazing really. In 4 games at Azteca, they have earned 3 points and been outscored 2-1. Nobody would have ever believed that seven months ago. -
QUOTE (fathom @ Sep 7, 2013 -> 04:44 PM) I hate that yahoo changed their sports format, as they used to have this information easily accessible. Do you know what the average ERA is for relievers in the majors? Agreed! Whoever designed the new format should be forever black balled from even touching a computer.

QUOTE (Chilihead90 @ Sep 7, 2013 -> 10:08 AM) Oh my god, I don't know if it was the cheap rum or what, but I am pretty much still drunk from last night. Everyone is attempting to go to tailgaiting right now, and I am just thinking about what I should eat to stay alive, and then probably going to sleep again. Fuuuuuuck. Suck it up kid. One drink and you will be drunk again and feeling like a superstar.

QUOTE (flavum @ Sep 7, 2013 -> 08:15 AM) Rays are making the AL Wildcard race interesting. Indians, Orioles 2 back. Yankees 2.5 back. Too bad the Royals had an awful May, and mediocre recently. Is it still a race if nobody is at the game to see it? The Orioles played in Cleveland Tuesday night and the announced attendance was 9,962.

QUOTE (Buehrle>Wood @ Sep 6, 2013 -> 08:35 PM) Not sure that Vereen is a safe play at all. He can easily net you 0 points. Also, yeah I wish I had a backup AB on my roster to sit Cam. A Patriots running back is NEVER a safe play. -

f*** ESPN and their Monte Ball hype. He might be dead right now. -
QUOTE (Rowand44 @ Sep 5, 2013 -> 06:32 PM) They absolutely should have lost to the Broncos but with them it was more getting healthy at the right time than it was getting hot. Did the creator of deer antler spray get a SB ring?

QUOTE (Dick Allen @ Sep 5, 2013 -> 06:25 PM) Hub Arkush is really bitter about the demise of his magazine. They asked him if the Ravens would be good this year, he asid they weren't good last year they just got hot. Then someone said that they like the Seahawks. Hub said a lot of people love the Seahawks, they need to study more. Then he said they were a good football team. So a team he said was no good last year won the SB, and he is ripping guys for liking a team he said is good. Of course he just laughed off the Bears. He would laugh off the Bears if the had the current day equivalent of the 1985 team. I don't necessarily disagree with him about the Ravens. They did get hot at the right time and needed an opposing safety to make one of the dumbest plays ever. They won the Super Bowl and that's all that matters in the end, but he has a point.

QUOTE (Buehrle>Wood @ Sep 5, 2013 -> 04:37 PM) This sounds like a late excuse to being one of the worst players in MLB. If I were him, I would do the same to try and salvage my soon to be over major league career. He might have learned it from the team captain.

The Orioles are one of the only folks in America who told the NFL to go f*** themselves and lived to tell about it.

QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Sep 5, 2013 -> 12:25 PM) What part of a roster of Juan Pierre's doesn't sound awesometacular to you? Can we get several Neifi Perez's to play the infield?
-
QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Sep 5, 2013 -> 08:57 AM) With the White Sox, that isn't always the case. Jerry does special exceptions. Well if that's the case, then Jerry deserves some of the blame instead. I do agree with greg though, that you can't put full blame on the manager for a s***ty roster decision, there's the reason why managers don't have full control over everything.

QUOTE (witesoxfan @ Sep 5, 2013 -> 08:26 AM) I think he let the inmate (singular) run the asylum to prove a point. That point led to said inmate getting a job in Miami a year later and the White Sox to end up with one of the most unfairly hated players in franchise history. Proving that point also may have cost the Sox one more playoff berth in this most recent window that just closed, which is why I can't completely absolve KW of any blame.
