QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Apr 9, 2009 -> 10:39 AM) Go sign up Byron Leftwich as backup. ^^^^^^^^^

I just watched him last night on the DirecTV free preview. Terrible. RIP

Cutler > Eli Forte > Jacobs (in terms of being an all around RB) I'd probably go with Chicago but that could be my bias speaking.

Pace reportedly recruiting Holt to come here. I'd love Holt. He's an older guy who still has some left in the tank and he can mentor guys like Hester. I have the 2006 Bears season DVD and in the Rams game Holt is mic'd and he loves Hester. Also, by getting Holt, this allows the Bears to do FS then DE or vice versa in the first 2 rounds and no WR until rounds 4 or 5. -

Wise, you suck. Love- Sox Nation -
QUOTE (rangercal @ Apr 8, 2009 -> 12:22 AM) right ok. You are suggesting stickers for numbers. What am I? nine? Okay, then go spend the extra $30 and get the premier, which means only 1 layer is sewn. Sort of hard to explain on here. QUOTE (DrunkBomber @ Apr 7, 2009 -> 11:39 PM) That Grossman jersey was bought at the gift shop near the underground parking at Soldier Field. Go look at pictures from the Bears games when they wear orange. I'll bet you a REAL jersey that the numbers are white with blue trim, not blue with white trim, like your's has.

4-0-0 in April with a 4-2 win tonight in Nashville. Considering all 4 opponents have been in the division and that they've struggled against division teams, that's impressive. -
How can that be the real Grossman when the numbers are white with blue trim on the real authentic orange jerseys, and your's has blue numbers with white trim? Also, if you look at your numbers on the Olsen, the numbers are shiny. They aren't like that on the real jersey. Look, you can all get what you want. But if you're going to spend 70-100 on a jersey, get the official replica or the premier style.

Look how much white there is. On the authentics, there is more orange then you think.

QUOTE (greg775 @ Apr 6, 2009 -> 11:17 PM) Gregg also looked decent enough even though he gave up a run. If the Cubs stay healthy, especially Soriano, they obviously are the class of that division. If they make the playoffs year after year, eventually they are going to strike it rich. Injuries will be key as always but they appear to be the class of that division again. Carpenter and Wainwright missed most of last year and the Cards still won 86 games. Too many people are giving the Cubs a quick pass in this divison. Me? Not so much.

QUOTE (DrunkBomber @ Apr 6, 2009 -> 09:29 PM) I posted picks of an Olsen jersey that I bought for $70 bucks. Ive taken it to places that sell authentic ones and it is exactly the same. Ive seen bad ones, but there are some that are good. They very likely could have been made the same place Reebok has them made and just sold illegally instead of turning them over to Reebok. There's too much white on the GSH stripes on the sleeves and the number 82 on the back looks different. Just saying.

4/7 Kansas City Royals @ Chicago White Sox 1:05 CDT - CSN

Let's get off on the right note. Here we go. -
Why are Brenley and Kasper making Bradley out to be Babe Ruth? Did anybody see that DP in the 3rd inning I think it was? They said Bradley caught it in RF acting like he might not get there so Matsui would get screwed up. Then Bradley was up on 3-0 and he swung and fouled it back and they talked about how much trust Lou has in him as a hitter and how scouts are righting it down right now. Bite me.
-
The Tigers look awful. Verlander just sucks and it doesn't get much better from the top to the bottom of that rotation. Some team will unload for Cabrera at the deadline...
-
As someone who used to work at a sports store, I can tell. Now, the jerseys are sewed differently. It's like the orange overlaps the white in a way. It's hard to explain.
-
I'd love to have TO or Houshmanzadeh here now, but that isn't going to happen. Maybe next year on TO... But on Plax, if he's cheap, I'd bring him in. He'll probably have to serve a 2-4 game suspension from Goodell but he made Eli a stud when he played and very medicore when he didn't.

Those knockoff jerseys are hideous. You're better off buying the official replica for the same price or the premier for $100 which is like the "swingman" NBA jerseys.

QUOTE (witesoxfan @ Apr 5, 2009 -> 09:07 PM) Reggie Williams is not a good player So far, no he isn't. But Garrard had 1 or 2 good years, got paid, and underachieved this past year. Maybe with a fresh start somewhere he can produce. It's taking a chance on a guy with potential, just like the draft. He's still only 25. -

Are the Sox moving Opening Day to Tuesday?
whitesoxbrian replied to Controlled Chaos's topic in Pale Hose Talk
Tuesday it's just supposed to be flurries while on Monday it's supposed to be snow. I bet they cancel and play Tuesday. -
When the Bulls got Wallace, I was pumped. But not to this extent..

All the way back to the tip, UNC looked focused and ready. Villanova never really had a shot..

MSU...amazing.

He had another solid defensive game.. -
I'm still trying to figure out if I want to get an authentic Cutler. I know a guy who owns a sports store and I can get it for about $160 (original price- $225).
