  1. It's like listening to predictions in any sport. "The Saints will win the NFC championship game" ---All 8 major NFL analysts at the time. Yeah? How did that go?
  2. He's a 19 year old who just got here from Cuba. Give the kid a break. Like the last poster said, Alexei was awful last year to start but he gradually got used to everything here in the US, and if it weren't for Longoria, he was the AL ROY last year. Give Viciedo some time. At the worst, he won't play up here next year either. But where would he play? Fields is exceeding my expectations so far.
  3. Gordon being 6'3? That's what they say. I've been at a Bulls game by the tunnel and he's my height and I'm 6'0. But anyways. Ben really doesn't do anything except shoot. He's a fantastic scorer. But he doesn't play defense, give an attempt to rebound, or help other teammates score by finding an open man. I'd love to keep him. But didn't he turn down a 5-55 deal? If he wants more then that, peace out.
  4. I already have a replica red Kane, and I'm planning on getting a white one. If it were up to you guys, would you get Sharp, Versteeg, or Seabrook?
  5. QUOTE (Reddy @ Apr 19, 2009 -> 08:20 PM) O/U Quentin hits 80 hr? O
  6. Hamilton is a fantastic talent. That being said, he wouldn't reach what he did last year playing anywhere else except maybe Colorado, either Chicago team, or Cincinnati. Last year, Hamilton had tons of talent around him to get on base. If Quentin had Kinsler, Davis, Murphy, and Young around him, he would have driven in 150 runs had he played the last month.
  7. Gordon Beckham is a f***ing man.
  8. Just an unreal f***ing game to be at. We should adopt the nickname THE 7TH MAN. That place is ridiculous.
  9. Chien Ming Wang is just f***ing brutal. 8 more ER in 1.2 IP. His season ERA is now at 34.50.
  10. QUOTE (DrunkBomber @ Apr 17, 2009 -> 01:27 PM) Wow, thats a monster pick up for the Eagles. Didn't Peters give up the 7th most sacks as a LT last year? EDIT- actually, he was tied for giving up THE MOST sacks. Going by that number, that's too much to give up.
  11. I think the Bears will go into the draft with the mindset of "We'll take a WR in round 2". However, if neither of Britt, Nicks, or Robiskie are there, I think they'll go BPA and then sign Holt. I'm beginning to think all this Massaqoui talk is a smokescreen.
  12. QUOTE (MEANS @ Apr 17, 2009 -> 10:29 AM) yes I agree, I'll be there too! Make that 3 of us.
  13. If the Ducks can beat San Jose, that would be f***ing huge.
  14. I've seen the Sox play in Comerica, PNC, Kauffman, Wrigley, and Great American (in 2 months I'll see them at GAB). Comerica was fun but that's when the Tigers were losing 100 games. PNC was just awesome and we never got into any problems with any of their fans. Kauffman was fun the first time but due to the fact that it was a 110 heat index last year, the Sox didn't show up, and the fans were a**hats, that was that trip miserable. I'm hoping GAB is fun, too.
  15. I can respect all those opinions, except the "Cleveland now has a better coach" one. What has Mangini done?
  16. I have Colon jersey that I got in 2003.
