  1. Not sure if Danks should start the 9th anymore. He might not even finish this inning.
  2. QUOTE (flavum @ May 24, 2014 -> 03:02 PM) No second guessing--if he gets through 8 quick, let him finish. Yeah, let him start the 9th if he can finish the 8th with around 100 pitches.
  3. Danks is just attacking these Yankee hitters and they can't do anything but fly out.
  4. QUOTE (flavum @ May 24, 2014 -> 02:34 PM) Really? Nothing on Hawk missing that ground rule double? lol he was about to say 3 run home run.
  5. Don't look now, but Gordon's hitting .290+.
  6. It's good to see Danks not sucking like he did against Houston last Sunday.
  7. QUOTE (Heads22 @ May 24, 2014 -> 02:17 PM) Man, Paulie is even slower this year. lol how is that even possible? I don't think he can get any slower.
  8. QUOTE (Jose Abreu @ May 23, 2014 -> 11:14 PM) what was the attendance? 27,091
  9. QUOTE (greg775 @ May 23, 2014 -> 11:13 PM) It's hard to keep hating the big fella after reading that article on him, listening to him post game and of course this epic homer vs. the Yankees. Think about all of New York being furious all because of Big Adam. Maybe he's destined to be a Sox for the next five years or so if he'll take about 5-7 mill a year. lol Greg, you would have never said any of this 10 minutes ago.
  10. If I remember correctly, Viciedo also hit a go-ahead 3 run homer off Robertson two years ago in the Bronx. The Sox have gotten to Robertson a few times in the 9th now.
  11. I'm not sure how you can be so unprepared in that situation. The coaching staff had to know that the Yankees were going to pinch hit for Johnson with Soriano, right? In that case, the only left handed hitter Downs could have faced was Gardner and Downs should only be pitching to left handed hitters.
  12. Petricka clearly wasn't ready. I'm not sure why nobody was up in case Downs sucked (no surprise, he sucked against right handers).
  13. What kind of awful bullpen management is this? Petricka wasn't ready to pitch to Soriano. Soriano inevitably gets a hit and now he's bringing in Petricka for a left handed hitter? WTF Robin?
  14. QUOTE (Jordan4life @ May 23, 2014 -> 05:06 PM) Season 2 of Dawon's Creek was airing last time the Bulls won a title. I haven't been rough enough on this lame ass org. For like 20 seconds. If that's the Heat, you're crying about it for at least 3 days. It's not like the Heat need more help from the refs. They already have 3 superstars.
  15. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ May 23, 2014 -> 02:11 PM) The Bulls fans I know f***ing hate the front office right now. They get a lot of venom. It's so boring and conservative. I've never thought KW was god or anything, but if KW was running the Bulls' front office, I'd almost be okay with it. I'm not sure I want a Daryl Morey kind of GM, but at least Daryl Morey keeps it interesting and exciting when no basketball is being played. All we can do as Bulls fans is talk about what the front office most likely won't do. It's so frustrating. With all that said, I'd say the Bulls FO is pretty smart when it comes to not screwing up. As in, they don't take a whole lot of chances, which leads to less mistakes. However, that just won't get it done in a league with a soft cap. Being smart might get you regular season wins in the NBA, but being creative gets you something better.
  16. QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ May 23, 2014 -> 11:35 AM) Gordon completely whiffed on a double play to the bag before any run scored I think you have the games mixed up. In that game, Altuve led off with a sharp single and Springer tripled after him. Fowler walked and then Castro hit the homer. Those are the 4 runs he gave up.

QUOTE (Chilihead90 @ May 23, 2014 -> 11:53 AM) Another livestream session of Watchdogs, starting in a few minutes...... http://www.twitch.tv/ubisoft Can't wait to pick it up on Tuesday. I'm having a lot of fun with the Show right now, but Watchdogs is way more enticing.
  18. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ May 23, 2014 -> 10:53 AM) He's been the king of "one bad inning" so far. That first start you could tell he was tired. Defense really betrayed him in Houston. I'm not so sure about that... The 4 runs he gave up in the first were all his fault. He would have given up more if Sierra didn't make an awesome catch in right.
  19. QUOTE (elrockinMT @ May 23, 2014 -> 10:43 AM) Noesi has to win a game sometime and I vote for today! And I don't think Noesi's been THAT bad for the Sox. He's been fairly serviceable.
  20. QUOTE (Boogua @ May 23, 2014 -> 10:33 AM) I have no idea why there has to be some sort of justification for hating Lebron and the Heat. I can only imagine Bulls fans in the late 80s saying "Come on guys, why do you hate the Pistons? They're a great team and Isaiah is really a stud point guard who even tried to make it so that he was drafted by the Bulls" Or Celtics fans in the 80s "Come guys, why the hate for Magic and the Lakers? Magic is one of the most pleasant stars in the league and it's showtime baby, how entertaining is that?" How about the Knicks fans of the early 90s? "Come on guys, why the venom for Jordan and the Bulls? He's likely the greatest player ever and you should just appreciate his presence." Or the Pacers fans of the 90s, "Come on guys, lets not hate the Knicks or Bulls. They both have fantastic players and we should just appreciate them." I'm sure Kings fans were questioned for disliking the Lakers in the early 00s. I'm sure Trailblazers fans rooted for the lakers too (Come on guys, how many times do you get to see talents like Kobe and Shaq pair up?" This is idiotic. How many fans root for dynasties across sports? Do you think the majority of the people liked the Patriots? Do a lot of nonhawks fan root for them? (I honestly don't know that one because I'm not huge with hockey) Maybe I'm just more passionate than others. It reminds me of a friend that asked me, "Why do you hate Aaron Rodgers? He owns." I know he owns, but that doesn't stop me from hating his f***ing guts. For real. I'm not sure why I have to like the superstars of the game. Am I supposed to appreciate the fact that they can dismantle my favorite team? I can respect their talents. I respect Kevin Durant. I actually like Kevin Durant unlike LeBron because: a) Kevin Durant didn't eliminate the Bulls twice in the playoffs the past 4 years. b) Kevin Durant doesn't flop like a b**** so often that he has YouTube videos dedicated to his flopping. c) Kevin Durant didn't play with everyone's hearts in the summer of 2010 and then go on ESPN to announce he's going to form a super-team in a city where nobody actually cares about sports. I can see that LeBron is easily the best player in the game right now. I don't have to appreciate that.
  21. -0.27 FIP last night. Yeah buddy. In fact, last night's start might be Sale's best start ever. While he only pitched 6 innings, that was Sale's lowest FIP and xFIP in any start. http://www.fangraphs.com/statsd.aspx?playe...=&sort=25,a
  22. It's very likely we won't make it out of group play anyhow. Meh.
  23. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ May 19, 2014 -> 04:30 PM) I don't think the Bulls can get far enough under the cap to do that even if they amnesthetize Boozer, they'd have to be able to fit Gasol's full $15 million next year (plus any draft pick hold) under the cap to make that work. However, they could make it work by Trading Boozer + Thibs for that package I believe. They'd be under the cap if they amnesty Boozer, so they can technically make that trade right? Then they can use Gasol as the main piece to get Love.
  24. QUOTE (Jenksismyb**** @ May 19, 2014 -> 03:50 PM) I wonder if the Bulls really will get an offer they can't refuse. That's a lot of chatter by a few different teams. Would you consider Marc Gasol + a draft pick an offer the Bulls can't refuse?
