lol Cutler actually had good numbers for this game.

QUOTE (bmags @ Oct 26, 2014 -> 02:52 PM) Lamar Houston prolly just tore his ACL on a sack dance. The Stephen Tulloch injury.

So that's how Brandon Marshall got traded from Miami and Denver...

And I thought the Steelers scoring 24 in 3 minutes was bad. This is worse.

That would have been nice when it wasn't 17-0.

Cutler looks like he's getting pressured every time in the pocket, even if there's no pressure.

I feel like I'm watching a college team playing against an NFL team. This is awful.

QUOTE (Chilihead90 @ Oct 25, 2014 -> 12:20 AM) Frank Caliendo does another perfect impression.... http://espn.go.com/video/clip?id=11754270&...=sportscenterFB Caliendo actually sounded more like Stephen A than Stephen A did.

QUOTE (pettie4sox @ Oct 24, 2014 -> 10:46 AM) Did any of you see that recent meeting of the Sciene, Space, and Technology committee? They had a few republicans represenatives on there saying that global warming was false; and that the scientist community keeps this myth alive to maintain their paychecks. It was pretty brutal to watch. Here's what I don't get with this argument...WHAT PAYCHECKS? It's clear that these politicians are the ones getting campaign donations from the oil industry. That's part of the irony here. But seriously, what paychecks? I can't really think of too many industries that would benefit from stricter environmental regulations.

QUOTE (witesoxfan @ Oct 24, 2014 -> 10:38 AM) I explained how this one is in the realm of realism too. You have to allow it. As stupid as it is, you just have to let it go sometimes. You're supposed to be impartial as a commissioner. If you're not, have a veto process where you're not the only person in charge.

QUOTE (NorthSideSox72 @ Oct 24, 2014 -> 10:31 AM) OK, I can see that. Fortunately I think those folks are few and far between, but I can definitely see how that set of beliefs at least borders on the concept of religion. I was afraid I was being labeled an environmental extremist for installing LED lights in my house. Some of those people are indeed crazy. My mom had a friend like that and I thought she was cuckoo. This is coming from a person who thinks preserving the environment is important. Anyhow, I feel like there's a lot of religious people on the right who buy into every kind of conservative value and that includes listening to the crap the oil companies spew regarding global warming, or the lack of it. It looks bad enough when you think the earth is 6000 years old, but when you blatantly ignore the consensus of the scientific community on something as important as global warming, it makes you look even worse.

QUOTE (SnB @ Oct 24, 2014 -> 07:44 AM) I had hillman, he had emmanual sanders. Woof. I had both, so not as big of a problem on that TD Hillman didn't score when he stepped out of bounds. Those two Thompson TDs had me pretty pissed though. I would have already won my game if he got 2 of those. I got 64 points from Sanders, Hillman, and the Denver D though, so I'm happy.

QUOTE (Soxfest @ Oct 23, 2014 -> 09:52 PM) Give Hillman some goal line love Denver. Seriously, two vultured TDs for Thompson.

I'm so glad I picked up Hillman instead of Oliver right now.

QUOTE (Chilihead90 @ Oct 23, 2014 -> 04:51 PM) Nope. I'm not losing internet connection, I'm just losing connection to EA's servers it says. My signal strength on my WiFi is 100% because we have a booster in the middle of our house. EA's servers aren't great, but I've only been disconnected a couple of times. I play Connected Franchise online a lot and I've never lost progress.

Carey just commented on the wrong replay. It was confusing.

Emmanuel Sanders is so awesome.

QUOTE (Chilihead90 @ Oct 23, 2014 -> 04:54 PM) Bad baserunning, and not hitting the cutoff man on defense. In my men's league it's hit or miss, but in the co-ed leagues I do sometimes, any hit to the OF is an automatic double because I just watch the throw and take off rounding 1st. It's rarely ever thrown in timely, or to the right person. In my men's league, you can usually swipe 2nd on throws home because everyone wants to be the OF hero who guns a guy out at home, so I take 2B on those throws every time. lol you sound like Hawk. But yes, it is very important to hit the cut-off man. Overthrows and throwing it around the infield like idiots annoys me to no end.

QUOTE (Chilihead90 @ Oct 23, 2014 -> 03:38 PM) Wireless. It's not really feasible to have a wired connection in our house. We've never had wired internet in any room other than where our router is. Well that's probably the issue then. Does this happen with your other games as well?

I also heard he was the patient 0 for Ebola.

QUOTE (Chilihead90 @ Oct 23, 2014 -> 01:56 AM) Also, picked up Madden 15 yesterday for $21 (after my $23 return on WatchDogs). I think I am regretting doing my Connected Franchise thing online. I am CONSTANTLY losing connection to the EA servers, which means it won't let me do anything in my franchise. Can't play at all without being connected. I'm wondering what is going to happen when I lose connect mid-game, or during the post-game load. Will it just lose my entire game? That's going to be a real game killer when I lose a 40 minute game because the server drops out. Yup, you'd lose the progress of your game. What kind of NAT do you have? Are you wired or wireless?

Jake Peavy also had a terrible playoff track record before this year, but he's been lights out for SF so far this post-season. Things change.

QUOTE (bmags @ Oct 22, 2014 -> 03:52 PM) I still just feel like Trestman has given Cutler a multiple choice test but Cutler continues to just pick C. For some reason, I can totally picture Cutler taking a multiple-choice test, circling C for everything, and saying "DON'T CAREEEEEEEEEEE" and then smoking a cigarette outside after he's done in 5 minutes.

QUOTE (Chilihead90 @ Oct 22, 2014 -> 03:03 PM) Here is my toss-up this week... Sanu or Welker? I'm leaning Sanu. I saw something that said Green might never be fully healthy again this year.

QUOTE (Chilihead90 @ Oct 22, 2014 -> 02:58 PM) I did too. Finally cut Zac Stacy off my team. I traded him for Cobb during his bye. Best fantasy trade ever for me.
