  1. QUOTE (SoxFan562004 @ Sep 15, 2014 -> 10:20 AM) http://deadspin.com/gus-johnson-is-out-as-...-1634809321/all Gus Johnson out as top announcer for Soccer for Fox. Not a surprise, he was bad. The article sums up my complaints except not really mentioned how he would manufacture his fake "start yelling" when something was close. Not anything against GJ, he's decent at other sports, just didn't work for soccer. Gus should stick to sports where you yell a lot, not sports when you only yell around twice every game.
  2. QUOTE (BigHurt3515 @ Sep 15, 2014 -> 12:37 AM) I don't want to derail the topic you guys started but: I am wanting to get a new phone in the next couple months, I am an android guy so what is the best phone out there? Is there any new ones coming out before the end of the year that are worth the wait? Not really wanting to wait for the newest one because of the prize but depends on the phone/price and the alternatives New Moto X, HTC One M8, LG G3.
  3. QUOTE (Chilihead90 @ Sep 15, 2014 -> 12:31 AM) I searched the Google PlayStore, but found nothing. Is this something I have to root my phone to use? And do both Show Box and MovieDroid have Chromecast support? MovieDroid does. Both aren't on the Play Store. You don't need root for either, although I think MovieDroid has some annoying ads that I got rid of with my ad blocker (you do need root for that).
  4. QUOTE (Chilihead90 @ Sep 15, 2014 -> 12:16 AM) What's Showbox? A kind of illegal movie/TV show app that you can find by Googling. I used to use it, but I found MovieDroid a bit better.
  5. QUOTE (BaconOnAStick @ Sep 15, 2014 -> 12:08 AM) Fuller covered Crabtree, took Crab out of the play which forced Kaep to go to his second option 10 yards down the field and he recognized it quick enough to get back there and make the play. To me it was more impressive than the first one, he manipulated a QB's decision making then capitalized on by moving himself to another part of the field. That's veteran lock down corner stuff. He did it in his second game. I looked at the replay for it again and I think you're right. He basically covered two guys on that play and deceived Kaepernick into thinking he was sticking onto Crabtree.
  6. QUOTE (BaconOnAStick @ Sep 14, 2014 -> 11:49 PM) Kyle Fuller made two really great plays for those picks. It wasn't just Kaep throwing it right to him, he earned em. The first one was all Fuller. The second one was sort of a bad throw by Kaepernick. I don't think Kaep saw that Fuller was behind Crabtree.
  7. I've pretty much won in 3 of my 4 leagues with me projected to win by 2 points in the other. That and a Bears win make this a pretty good football Sunday.
  8. QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Sep 14, 2014 -> 11:22 PM) Cutler said he felt like his chest bone touched his backbone when he got hit It made him throw the ball better, lol.
  9. Cutler may have been kind of a goat in the first game, but he was absolutely spot-on when it mattered in this one. Those two throws he made on the last drive were money.
  10. QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Sep 14, 2014 -> 10:48 PM) That's one of the best Bears games ever. Biggest comeback since that crazy game against Arizona in 2006. I think it's one of the best Bears comebacks I've ever seen (I've been watching since ~2000). The change in the game from the first to the second half was so drastic. We couldn't buy a first down in the first half. We barely had an incomplete pass in the second half. Absolutely amazing adjustments by Trestman at the half, although he deserved to get blasted for the play calling in the first half. Losing Peanut will hurt, but Fuller looks to be pretty damn good.
  11. What happened to Tillman?
  12. There was a blatant offensive pass interference on Johnson though.
  13. I don't think Tillman caught that.
  14. QUOTE (fathom @ Sep 14, 2014 -> 07:41 PM) Blatant delay of game missed Yup they were late by almost 2 seconds.
  15. You can thank Perry for most of that. What kind of idiot takes a kick out when it's 8 yards deep in the end zone?
  16. Perry is an awful returner
  17. Apparently AP told the kid's mom he nailed the kid in the balls. WTF?
  18. QUOTE (Chilihead90 @ Sep 13, 2014 -> 04:27 AM) BETTER battery life? I've already squeezed 70 hours out of my G2 at one point. That's what I've heard. Edit: http://bgr.com/2014/06/09/lg-g3-blows-riva...-monster-specs/

QUOTE (danman31 @ Sep 12, 2014 -> 05:55 PM) Yeah, I'm starting to pick up on that subtlety. It seemed easier to turn defenders the wrong way, but I don't think it was a high difficulty level. From what I could see, there was no way to change the difficulty so I'm not sure what I was playing. I think the difficulty almost changed from game to game. I lost a game 3-0 somehow and I couldn't get the ball away from the other team, but I've won every other game by 2. Maybe it was just that one game.
  20. QUOTE (SleepyWhiteSox @ Sep 12, 2014 -> 08:28 PM) Yeah but there's also rumors that it could be bigger, like 5.9 big I really doubt they'd make a 6 inch Nexus phone.
  21. QUOTE (Chilihead90 @ Sep 12, 2014 -> 04:50 PM) Yeah, if I were to get a new phone right now, the first one I would look at is the G3. I've heard amazing things about it, and currently owning the G2, I can't even imagine how they improved it so much. They managed to improve the battery life with a bigger and higher resolution screen. I played around with it at Best Buy and I was blown away at how small the phone was given that it had a 5.5 inch screen. Even though the back was plastic, it felt pretty good in the hand since it wasn't glossy. Build quality seemed pretty good.
  22. QUOTE (MurcieOne @ Sep 12, 2014 -> 03:56 PM) Uh-oh So many high profile names getting in trouble with the law. It's been a rough year for the NFL.
  23. QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Sep 12, 2014 -> 03:02 PM) digging for dirt, and showing everyone the dirt you found Exactly. TMZ has some of the worst journalistic integrity out there. Praising that site for journalism just seems wrong.
