  1. Feliz is walking 7.2 per nine innings. TAKE SOME DAMN PITCHES!
  2. QUOTE (The Ginger Kid @ May 25, 2011 -> 03:33 PM) kind of funny that oz is changing pitchers when he blew his chance to manage in the top of this inning. He's trying to make up for it. Fortunately for him, it sort of worked.
  3. QUOTE (Harry Chappas @ May 25, 2011 -> 03:31 PM) That was the worst piece of managing since the hit-and-run with Dunn at home a couple of games back. Dunn is not a situational small ball hitter yet the Ozeroo thinks he is. Managers are suppossd to put their players in the best poistion to succeed Guillne seems to get hem into the best position to fail McPherson than Vizquel is the right situation there as now McPherson is in the game anyway and Vizquel is the only bat on the bench. Tony Pena...seriously Guillen really does not care about this game. In a situation that would have wasted Dunn anyways, bringing in Vizquel in that situation is a no-brainer.
  4. QUOTE (fathom @ May 25, 2011 -> 03:29 PM) What happened? Rios misplayed a double that went over his head.
  5. God damn, Tony Pena again? Ozzie's trying to lose this game.
  6. The only thing Dunn can do against lefties is draw a walk. That's it. He has no chance to make any kind of meaningful contact against them. It's like Mark Kotsay is in Dunn's body.
  7. QUOTE (Milkman delivers @ May 25, 2011 -> 10:38 AM) I did not stay up to watch this game, but Tony Peña needs to be designated for assignment. He brings nothing to this team, he subtracts. We have a long road ahead of us and we can't afford to let this guy cost us any games. The only things keeping him around is his ability to throw hard and Kenny Williams' pride. We should have DFA'd him instead of Gray. We might still have D.J. Carrasco if it wasn't for Pena.
  8. Pena's gone! Unfortunately, we gotta deal with Sale.
  9. I'll take 6-4, I guess.
  10. I'm drooling after looking at Arron Affalo's Basketball-Reference page. He's exactly what this Bulls team needs. Too bad he's an RFA.
  11. Adam Dunn decided to hit the ball.
  12. Tony Pena is freaking terrible.
  13. QUOTE (JoeCoolMan24 @ May 24, 2011 -> 11:30 PM) That's what someone else said. What am I forgetting about Tomko/AJ? Were they the Giants teammates that fought? I don't think they fought, but Tomko didn't like how A.J. would play cards instead of working with him on pitching or something.
  14. 3 more outs to get and this game will be official.
  15. QUOTE (lostfan @ May 24, 2011 -> 11:17 PM) I have never seen it work, not once. I'm not even sure what it's supposed to do. Watson is capable of creating his own shot. So he could free up Rose a bit, but the defense is so bad when that combo is out there that it neglects anything Watson can create on offense.
  16. QUOTE (lostfan @ May 24, 2011 -> 11:13 PM) The Bulls managed to build a lead in the 3rd, then Thibs used that f***ing Rose-Watson backcourt and the lead evaporated in second. God I hate that lineup so much. Watson is an abortion on defense. It usually never works. Simply because Watson can't guard a SG, he's just too short. Miller got hot because he had a midget guarding him to start the 4th basically.
  17. QUOTE (Jordan4life @ May 24, 2011 -> 11:03 PM) Well said. And I hoped we could overcome that. But whatever. I think we still have a bright future. Conference finals after how many years? But Luol Deng can't be our second best player and expect to win a title. I said coming into the playoffs that if the Bulls got to the ECF, I would be satisfied. That's the best case scenario I saw with the team before the season. But with how well the Bulls played in game 1 and how much I hate those three ass holes in South Beach, I guess I got tricked into thinking the Bulls had a really legit chance at winning this series. I guess not.
  18. NBA 2K11 actually predicted the Bulls would come back from a 3-1 deficit before the series started. This is the only hope I can go off of right now.
  19. Remember when the Bulls were awesome at closing teams out with great defense while Miami couldn't buy a game-winning or tying shot? Yeah, those were great times. Too bad it's the other way around now.
  20. QUOTE (MexSoxFan#1 @ May 24, 2011 -> 10:44 PM) We had this game in regulation, f***ing Rose and his weak ass fade away, goddammit!!! Or if he made just one free throw.
  21. QUOTE (Steve9347 @ May 24, 2011 -> 10:31 PM) omfg who cares? the nba calls traveling against no one and the bulls f***ing blew it by calling iso twice with 6-3 on 6-9. it aint rocket science. LeBron walks a lot. It's a league-wide issue, but I don't think there's a better player at exploiting it than him. He also makes it painfully obvious.
  22. I'm speechless at how poorly the Bulls handled the ball in OT. They don't deserve to win by playing that poorly in crucial situations.
  23. Get Watson out of there. Miller's just shooting over him.
  24. That was not an offensive foul. Are you kidding? Deng was passing.
