Cricket is offering the iPhone 4 and 4S at $400 and $500 respectively with their $55 unlimited plan. Not a bad deal, considering unlocked 4S phones cost like 600.

I still don't want Youk. I'd rather get Chase Headley. Get that guy out of Petco and he'll hit 20 HR with very good on base skills. Headley's career stats away from home: .300/.366/.444, good for a wOBA of .356 and a wRC+ of 128. Oh and he's a good defender at 3B. Headley's going to take a lot more to get, but this is someone you can have for a year and a half and he'll give you 3-4 win production at a very valuable position.

Somebody needs to tell Orlando Hudson to stop swinging for home runs. Because that's what it seems like he's doing almost every time he's up. His batted ball rates look like this: 2012 Sox: 15.2% line drives, 45.5% ground balls, 39.4% flyballs, 10% infield fly balls 2012 Padres: 20.5% line drives, 41.1% ground balls, 34.7% flyballs, 5.1% infield fly balls Career: 20.4% line drives, 50.1% ground balls, 36.6% flyballs, 7.2 % infield fly balls He's basically trading line drives for fly balls and infield flies. There's a good reason why he's hitting so badly. Low LD% and rise in FB% for a guy with no power usually means you'll hit under .200. I've always remembered Hudson as a singles hitter who sprays line drives to all directions with some power to the gaps. He doesn't do that anymore, not even close. I don't see how he just can't hit line drives anymore, he hit them at his career rate with SD earlier in the year. Something's wrong with his approach. He must think he can hit home runs in a small park or something.
